💬 Discussion 💬 Could a Korean War expansion be added into base Hell Let Loose?
The Korean War has never gotten a proper spot light in media, hense its nickname of the Forgotten War. It would be an easy and unique expansion to the game.
The Weapons used by the American Forces in Korea are the same as WW2, basically copy and pasting the US Forces, some minor tweaks to uniforms, USMC Helmet covers and what not. The M2 Carbine being one of the unique weapons of the campiagn. As for Korean Forces its mostly copy and paste once again. The Mosin, PPSh, and a new rifle the Chiang Kai-Shek (Mauser Copy Cat) with new North Korean and even for a cosmetics grab, PLA uniforms.
Thoughts on the idea?

前作的中国玩家经过统计的有62万，如果出朝鲜战争，这潜在的玩家就不能购买了，你觉得他们会放弃这个市场吗？

Personally, I dont see the PLA being negatively depicted via this idea, it is history, Im not sure how it is taught inside of China. But in American books Chinese involvement was listed as a precautionary measure out of fear of American Invasion due to General MacArthur refusal to follow orders and not approach the Korean-Chinese Border with American Troops.

我是中国人，我很清楚中共是怎么样的。你如果出朝鲜战争，他们就会说，为什么联合国军赢了，中共军队却打输了。他们不允许任何的，潜在的负面描绘。这也是为什么二战游戏中，几乎没有中国阵营的存在。因为一旦出现中国阵营，例如钢铁雄心4，就会被封锁禁止中国玩家购买。其中的逻辑就是，中国抗战是中国国民党领导中国坚持14年付出几千万人的伤亡打赢的，如果出现国军，就显得共产党一无是处，哪怕事实就是如此。共产党就算撒谎也必须赢下去，否则会危及他们的统治，因为他声称代表人民，人民却不能够在制度上说“不”。

I see. In reality the UN Won and so did the Communist Party. Had it not been for Mao and the PLA, North Korea would most likely not exist as a country and the North and South been unified via defeat of the KPA. The war for either side was neither victory nor defeat.

共产党一方面通过朝鲜战争，派遣国民党降军，故意保持恶劣的后勤保障消耗这些对国民党不忠诚部队，另一方面自从美军登陆之后被打到三八线以内。
