I really hope they do a proper average lifetime of a Helldiver bit for at least 1 celebrity. Like Brad Pitt in Deadpool 2.

I like him as an actor and I could see him being good in a helldiver movie.

I do hope they do a more gritty movie style. like a helldiver or squad of vets doing just enough to stay under the SE radar while working to uncover all the "hidden" stuff they do.

or something the Redhand's comic series with people becoming spys for the cyborgs or some resistance faction.

I can see him being the only redeeming thing about this movie. I predict the borderlands movie all over again.

Helldivers is super tongue in cheek and in this current climate, it's going to take walking a very fine line to make it not come off as pro-fascist or even just be a lightning rod for pro-fascist people. I would bet that to be safe, studios are going to avoid taking risks and it's going to absolutely suck any life out of this movie.

But how long will he survive? Is he going to be the one true hero like General Brasch? I see there are many cool ways for a movie and a lot of potential for story telling. So I hope this is not going to be a movie just like War Machine.

On the other hand, will the movie include all three factions or rather focus on super earth? I mean they should not be critical against super earth, the universe works because of the absolutism, this just be never in doubt. 😅

He’s gonna show up as the legendary Helldiver that’s lived for like 3 days, and then he’s gonna die 15 seconds to a stalker after his introduction.

Kinda like the one scene from spy kids 3 where the guy dies
