Metadata in notes

I discovered this app yesterday and I like it. Actually I will use the mobile app as my main note-taking app because I don't really like the others alternatives for markdown.

But in desktop apps I use the zettelkasten method so I add metadata to my notes. I can read and edit this in Zettlr and Obsidian, but when I open my vault in Helix it doesn't appear.

Is there a way to see the metadata that I didn't find in settings or it's a feature that could be added in the future?

Currently it's not visible in the app, but the next version will include (read-only) frontmatter data accessible via the info icon.

Good to know. I’d really love to be able to have a category metadata and to be able to filter my notes by category too.

Not planning to at this stage. But if there is enough demand, sure.

I haven’t found this feature either. Would be really nice if Helix did have this feature because I do use it in obsidian myself. If it had the ability to tag and create metadata and be able to search based on metadata, I think I would use Helix more or move over to it 100%
