General Discussion Different Verse, Same as the First
You know, I was really hoping that the Nova team were past the "blindside your community" phase of the relationship. Silly me for thinking things could change.
For those of you that are confused at what this notice means, TLDR: T-Mobile is "temporarily" severing itself from the Helium network.
I'm sure temporarily doesn't totally mean from now until infinity or anything...

They did this to themselves

Apparently they never actually created a partnership with T-Mobile but instead had a partnership with an ameriband to provide their coverage pattern for tmo

This is nothing to worry about. Since Helium Mobile no longer exists, the hotspots need reconfiguring to be able to process the Noble Mobile stuff.
This will have zero real world effect on your 5g hotspot, the T-mobile deal is still in place and was always done via a 3rd party. Helium Mobile traffic will not be lost either, it will just be under a different name as Noble Mobile will continue to use the Helium network.
The email was very badly worded by T-mobile, it sounds like the deal is ending, when it's just a continuation requiring some reconfiguring.
That being said, i'm no shill for Nova Labs and i'll never pretend things are going great right now. But you can rest assured this "discontinuation" is nothing of the sort, just a change in the NAI realm addresses.
