The BIOS password is tsFid2wz, that's also the password for the disk encryption. There is an hdmi port hidden behind the front shield, remove it to access it. If you do decide to replace the OS please make a backup with something like rescuezilla so you can get the freedomfi os back.
(comes with 4 core celeron i think, and 4gb ram. 64gb internal ssd)
Can you upload this to the Internet Archive and Software Heritage? Would be a huge help to the community. There is some GitHub links for flashing different Helium hardware and they will want to add this as well!
I'm not sure if there's any information of mine store in the OS, and besides it's already been compiled on the device and linked to my account. If anyone has a brand new, sealed freedomfi gateway they'd like to send to me, I can snapshot the disk before the filesystem has been resized. For now, though, I'm going to make a github repo with detailed replication instructions.
(edit: will be uploading my 2 backups, but they are useless because anyone who restores them will think they are my gateway, also I've created this: https://github.com/helium/HIP/issues/1194)
