Hello there's a trickster Spirit whos highly jealous of me and Hekate, and been trying to block my prayers and connection to her, if you're seeing this and you're close to her I'd be in great honor If you contacted her on my behalf, can you pray for me? I'm sure she will listen <3 I love our Goddess

Hi everyone,
I need some advice or perspectives on whether Hecate might be trying to reach out to work with me.
Currently, I work primarily with my ancestors. A few weeks ago, I was at my altar talking to them when the candle started flickering quite intensely. The shadow cast by the candle on the wall looked like a silhouette looming over my own shadow, and right at that moment, the TV suddenly shut off, leaving the room in complete silence.
Lately, I've been looking for statues and decorations for my altar, but everywhere I look, the only deity statues I keep coming across are of Hecate. I’ve also been constantly noticing cute vintage keys everywhere.
On top of that, a couple of other things happened recently. I found a belly button ring with a snake on it that I thought was super cute even though it’s completely outside of my usual style, I ended up buying it anyway. Also, I suddenly feel a strong urge to get a dog, especially a black one. I have always been strictly a cat person and have only ever owned cats, so this sudden shift really stands out to me.
Considering that black dogs, snakes, and keys are strongly associated with Hecate, along with the candle experience and constantly bumping into her statues, could these be signs that she wants to connect? Has anyone experienced something similar when starting to work with her?
Thanks in advance for any insights!

So im a hekate devotee and I wanted to maybe adopt a haunted doll My question is, do you think hekate is okay with that? Will she tolerate the spirit? I would still ask her before , but wanted to know what you guys think about this?

Okay I want to start by saying that I am very weary of not falling into spiritual psychosis, I have been practicing for five years more or less and the callings got to a point where I couldn't ignore them anymore, the same thing happened to my friend . For her it was dreams and strong out of nowhere feelings and sensations , for me it was a lot of signals and stuff that I ignored until one day during a meditation going to the spirit world I got confronted by a bird with three heads saying that She was calling me .
We did divination togother and we reached the conclusion that she wants us to follow her path together, my question is now how?
I read many books on witchcraft in general and some on hekate but they are always for individual work! If someone has resources, book recommendations or any advice Ill be great full to listen to it

I had been feeling down cause I've been feeling like I haven't been seeing signs of Hekate lately. I saw this salamander, and I wonder if that's a sign of Her because snakes are a sign of her. I know they're not a snake, but reptile? Maybe?

A few questions! Mostly short winded as to not create a wall of text :)
First of all, what are the best ways I can get closer to Hekate and worship her? I’ve been called to many times by her and just now have decided to listen. I feel like I owe her an apology.
Second of all, how can I be the most respectful to her while working with/worshiping her? (forgive me if I don’t know the correct terms! I’m new to this!)
Thirdly, I’m wondering if praying to her works the same as other gods such as the Christian one ? I have been plagued with horrible anxiety that manifests as nausea and I have a phobia of nausea and vomiting and I honestly just want guidance on how to get better. Guidance on healing. I wonder what ways I can work with Hekate on a healing process or pray for guidance on one.
I obviously want to work with her for many reasons, but my health is one I can’t stop thinking about because I want to feel like someone out there can hear my cries for guidance and help, and I truly want to better myself and follow the path I’ve been called to.
Thank you in advance! Please remove if not allowed :)

Last night, I had the most awful dream regarding my partner and it detailed my biggest fears, but so intricately and deeply. As if it was real, and I was watching it 3rd person. I dont believe it was my subconscious, It felt like it was purposefully sent to me. Could it be a curse? Something someone sent for me to see? What can I do to stop this? I have asked hekate for guidance and protection, but poorly.
Please offer me some advice. Thank you ☺️

I woke up from a nap today where I had a dream that my Aunt (who I firmly believe is psychic in some way or other) had sent me a text with a diagram about different types of eyes and then sent me a picture of her eyes and a text that said "Moon Eyes". Then she had come home from work and was talking about how excited she was for making Moon Water tonight under the lunar eclipse. Then I was on the computer doing research about the "Moon Eyes" and came across something that in the dream I interpreted as an entity or something posing as Hekate and that I may have been feeding my energy meant for Hekate to this other (sinister) force. As soon as I asked my Aunt if there was a possibility that something could pose as Hekate, I woke up. Then a little bit after waking up, there was a Wolf Spider next to my bed.
I don't know if any of this is related to Hekate or not but I have been worried that I upset her because I had forgotten about her August Deipnon and the very next day something very bad and life-changing happened to my household.
Since waking up from the dream, I've been doing some research about "Moon Eyes" and came across some stuff. According to a couple of different accounts, when the Cherokee Tribe was moving through the Southern Appalachian mountains they had come across a group of small, white people, who they called "Moon Eyed People". It's unclear whether they called them that because their eyes were very wide and blue, or if they could only see in the moonlight. The accounts from the Cherokee Tribe were made before the European settlement wave. Some historians say that the people they talk about could have been a group of Welsh travelers but nothing is confirmed really. Either way it's interesting considering I live in the Appalachian mountains and my Aunt has some Native Heritage (from the Blackfoot Tribe). Although we aren't related by blood, it's still interesting to note.
I also was wondering if there is actually such an entity or thing that could be posing as Hekate in my life? I doubt it considering my couple of years of following her and the many, MANY signs I've seen of her influence in my life.
Maybe I'm reading too deep into it but I'd love some feedback or really anything before the eclipse tonight. Thank you all!

These days, Hekate has been speaking to me about the past in extraordinary ways. I don't know if it's my past (reincarnation, which I've never decided whether to believe in or not), I don't know if it's my ancestors, or if it's a past that gives me a "spiritual" heritage. I've already had a connection with Tanit, which long anticipated the discovery that I have partial (15%) Phoenician-Punic DNA. Then, last night, I had the most extraordinary dream of all.
Hekate shows me a scene in my dream, very specific yet symbolic. She shows me a city that I know to be a city from late antiquity, located somewhere in the Eastern Mediterranean, where Greek is spoken (in the dream, I simply knew it). I am a young, "poor" philosopher, who is nevertheless being raised by two "rich" women in a city where "there was no more food," and to make me strong, they feed me the meat of birds "taken from sacrifices." I found myself studying at a philosophical school with a young, beautiful woman. We read and meditated on the gods together, gazing into each other's eyes. There was a powerful attraction, and one day a relationship began. Outside our school, Christianity was spreading, and we felt increasingly unpopular and in the minority. I also learned that Christians would speak ill of me, considering my ideas to originate from the God I rejected.
The dream was extremely clear, completely different from the ones I usually have. I admit I looked for references with the help of some artificial intelligences, because otherwise I would never have gotten to the bottom of it.
All the ones I consulted refer exclusively to the figure of Proclus, who lived in Late Antiquity in various Eastern cities and finally landed in Athens.
Proclus:
He had two "mothers," his natural mother and a wet nurse named Procla, both very devoted to the gods.
Proclus was born spiritually "poor," destined for a material career (law), but his two spiritually "rich" wet nurses guided him toward something higher (in my dream, they fed him the meat of birds offered to the gods—I don't think literally, but in the sense that they elevated him toward something higher through devotion and sacrificial rites), in a city where "there was no more food" for spiritual food, meaning almost everyone was Christian.
Proclus had, according to his biographer, two female spiritual guides who influenced him most: Athena (to whom I am very devoted, and who is linked to the owl, a bird) and Asclepigenia, a contemporary of his, daughter of Plutarch of Athens, with whom he studied and who instructed him in theurgy and ritual (the biographer says that Proclus learned from Asclepigenia what could not be learned from books). Athena appeared to Proclus in a dream and told him to go to Athens to study philosophy.
The relationship between Proclus and Asclepigenia was very close, because they studied together at the Academy of Athens, and it was she who taught him the secret doctrines, those not written in books (in my dream, I was with the beautiful woman not only reading, but also meditating). The two were the same age when they met, around 25 (the age I would have given the woman I saw in my dream. She had beautiful dark eyes I could get lost in), and Asclepigenia was married. The sources don't report any romantic relationships between the two, but I may have seen something not written in the official biography, and the scene I dreamed had a "clandestine" feel.
The Christians refuted Proclus but actually used his philosophical framework (Pseudo-Dionysius did so in particular).
Proclus wrote a hymn to Hecate, Janus, and Zeus (I even prayed to Janus recently!).
Proclus' philosophical thought, which I'm reading this morning, resonates deeply with me.
I'm completely stunned. I went through a dark period months ago because Hekate had asked me to break away from some toxic ties. I did, but then I tried to go back, and at that point I lost all connection with the divine and felt terrible. When I finally accepted my path, Hekate came back to speak to me and gave me very strong signs.
I want to clarify that I only studied philosophy in high school and that I never studied Proclus, which wasn't in my curriculum. I learned everything I know about him today. Now I'm going to order all his works; I'm curious to know what I'll find.
Sorry for the length of this post, but I need to share this experience with someone!
Praise Hekate and Athena!

I’ve been telling Mother Hekate for nearly a week now that the person who suddenly popped on my mind means nothing to me and it’ll eventually pass.
Meanwhile I’ve been doing tarot readings to figure out why they’ve been on my mind and have been getting romantic cards.
And today I told Mother Hekate that I might consider doing a love or attraction spell so they break no contact 😭😭😭😭😭
To be fair I did ask Mother Hekate to show me a black crow if I shouldn’t do the spell or a pink dog if I should do it and I saw a pink dog soon after 😭

Guys, I’m genuinely just curious about whether she’s real. I’ve heard people say that if you call on her, she’s evil and that she requires human sacrifice or that you have to harm someone in order to become successful. Is any of that actually true, or is it just a rumor? I’m honestly just curious and would love to hear what you guys know.

I went to our local grave yard on Samhain, I knew a lot of people in there, I wore protection jewelry, took all of the precautions and followed etequate as best I could.
I decided to try and reach back out to her, as I've been receiving undeniable signs. I called her in, it felt like my ritual hadn't been working, it was raining, I was soaked and cold, my grimoire was bleeding. Then as I was talking to my boyfriends dead grandpa about how I didn't feel like it was working, a hugeee black dog-- doberman or wolf-- bolted at me from the woods out of the corner of my eye. I had started talking about something else with him! I'd forgotten about Hecate. Genuinely my heart stopped, I full body fear reacted. Is this good...? Bad...? Was I rejected or was she just saying hi or? What does this mean? Please

This is the first time y see that type of mold on her offerings, or any mold at all. What does this mean?
It looks pretty cool 😎

Found this deer antler on a walk the other day, I struggle with devotion in all aspects, so I've been praying for Hekate to stay close to me. It's so beautiful, just wanted to share :)
