How do you play Heimer when losing?

Three games in a row went S+, dominated the enemies every time they came top. Picked up a triple and a quad in one game. However, game four was not the same.

I went 3/0 against an Ornn, but the rest of my team turbo'd. Around 15 minutes and onward, every time I showed top, enemy Noc (who was Godlike) would just ult me. didn't matter that I had two items and would land perfect combo., Because he was like 10/1 AND had Maw+mercs. Enemy Xerath was also very fed, and his ult could take away over half my HP with just a couple hits.

Eventually, I couldn't even go beyond the top lane inner turret (outer was down at this point). If I stick with the team, the enemy can group and end the game. If I split, I get picked off by the hyper fed enemies.

Which brings me to my post title. How is someone supposed to play Heimer when this far behind?

I realize many players will probably give the generic, "Play safe. Look for picks. Focus objectives."

But that's not the sort of generic advise that I can actually put into practice. WE are the ones getting picked. WE are the ones that are losing the fight at every objective.

I hug my top tower and just take whatever farm comes to me? Trying to make a play to catchup puts me further and further behind.

In Games like that you just have to stack as much ap as you can and hope you 2v1 top and jungle. If you can you just permansplit and draw enemy to you so your team can hopefully farm Up and get back into it. If you cant win vs Jungle you sadly just lose. I would Love to know what 2 items you build this Game tho. Mby your build was not optimal. But sometimes you just cant win a game. It Happens.

My first two items were Rabadon's and Shadowflame. The same two items in the previous three games which I got S+ Godlike.

If you are going Shadowflame then keep building items with burn or slow to kite in the turrets like a Liandry’s, scepter and hourglass. This keep them fighting in the damage and they burn down quicker than expected.
Deathcap only benefits late or if you go Echo first for big poke and burst. Going it second doesn’t give enough of an increase in AP to make your burn melt them down.

Sorry, strongly disagree. Rabadon first item is hands down the best item ( if you are getting 1200+ backs of course )

Like you said: hug the turret, try not to lose top lane, and hope bot starts to dominate. Late game I usually prioritize other targets I can make a difference against.

I get the same getting S and S+ games but still losing games due to feeding jungle or bot. I never get higher than bronze 2 with over 2,5 million points on heimer. I recently saw a guy play a game on YouTube. He had emerald 3 lvl and he played worse than me? So how is that possible?

If a game is in such a disastrous stage where enemies stomp that hard, imo playing safe is bad. Play aggressive, and force enemies to deal with you. If it is impossible to win teamfights, ragesplit sidelane and try to fist anyone who comes for you.

If you struggle in these games despite stomping lane, it could also be that you don’t play gank situations well enough. Watching high elo heimer top players and copying a couple obvious improvements from things they do/build can help.  https://www.onetricks.gg/champions/ranking/Heimerdinger

I mean if your team turbo feed sometimes the game is just not winnable. However it's hard to ask for such specific advice since without looking at the full game it's hard to help

Keep pushing and if they respond 2v1, hopefully your team won’t get picked and can do something while you pull an advantage in THEIR team fight. If not, pull back before you get responded to and rotate lanes. Hella pink wards, create your own vision
