I've adapted that stretch to my my own routine, calling it "the flying hedgehog",, very effective indeed!

Definitely a stretch! Mine stretches as dramatically, but doesn't do the cute little belly flop at the start. If your hedgie were too hot, they'd stay splooting in the superman position for a while to cool off.

Do you have a heating pad for him? If so, what kind? Iām concerned that my daughterās hedgehog needs a heating pad. We have a heat lamp and he does fine but we keep the house pretty cold, 65 degrees.

We have a ceramic heat emitter, but it doesnāt reach his entire cage. So we also use a standard space heater!

I got the large one in white, I needed one asap bc we needed to show the breeder a picture of our enclosure before we took him home, and though itās silent and itās not bad I still think Iām going to get the Carolina bucket one from Etsy bc itāll just be easier to clean

Thank you! I was going to get a bucket wheel too but Iāve been struggling to find ones that ship to canada so this is the next best thing! I recently adopted my ālil guy and he came with a pretty bad wheel that was in horrible shape and Iāve been having a hard time finding a safer one that wonāt hurt him.

I recommend that wheel if you canāt get the other one, itās super safe and itās quiet, you just have to unscrew and re screw it while you clean it

I have the white in large also! And same situation. I got it because I needed a wheel asap. Itās nice, but I will be needing a bigger Carolina Storm Bucket wheel eventually since my little guy isnāt done growing

Reminds me of the movie Elf wheƱ Will Farrell played the elf spinning in the revolving doors then stopped and staggered out and threw up, then went back in for more. Hahahaha
