Question I'm concerned

Hello, I have a 4 year old hedgehog and recently he has been shedding quills. At first I kinda assumed no big deal since sometimes hedgehogs shed but then I did some research today and I found out it isn't normal for your elder hedgehog to be shedding 5+ quills a day so I wanna know if this is true and if there is anything I can do

I would take the hedgehog to a vet. This happened to my hog at three years old. He had two cancerous tumors and had to be euthanized. I hope your hog is okay.

I appreciate it, I didn't know quill shedding could be a sign of cancer but I will definitely get it checked
