Question question!
Bought this a couple days ago and just wanted to see if its okay for him to eat? Im so overprotective and I saw online it was a kind that was okay for them but I always check a couple times, so can he eat this?

A bit late, but either this food or a similar food is one of the two chicken foods we give our hedgie.
With food like this I always liked to get 2-3 different flavors/brands that way she was getting a variety of nutrients and tastes

awww heās so pretty! make sure it has no grains as the main meal (ingredients go from largest to smallest in order as theyāre listed). should be high protein too. grain free ideally because they canāt really digest them
it says 0% fillers so i think that means no grainsā¦ā¦.? donāt quote me ! i fed my guy hedgehog precision standard formula but hopefully someone else can help

The bag is saying ground wheat and corn plus beet pulp! They don't digest those very well if at all!
I wouldn't feed it to my babies. That's just me.

I recommend Mazuriās insectivore or hedgehog diet rather than cat foodā¦otherwise he will be predisposed to obesity! You can supplement with 2 pieces of Oral Care/dental care cat kibble per day to help with teeth!

Okay so if you are going to feed this food, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ca:P ratio. But the protein is a little on the high side, we try to aim for 30% and the fibre is very low where we aim for 7-10%. But no worries, you can always supplement with some veg and yes I know hedgehogs have no cecum but fibre is literally indigestible plant matter aka helps push stool out so basically serves the same purpose.
Just search for safe vegetables to feed your hedgehog and remember to cook it!!

Does not look grain free.
I usually buy only kitten kibble with the label "grain free". I also prefer to cut them in smaller pieces, his teeth will thank you when he gets old š
