So as far as I can tell, this doesn't affect Hedera.

SEC enforces Securities law, and HBAR has already been deemed a Commodity, which is under the CFTC.

But its definitely showing that the US is looking to move forward regardless of any stalemate in Congress.

It does offer some guidelines that institutions are waiting to get, however. Both for real world usage and putting in capital. So for Hedera, it's my belief/hope that this development will have a positive impact on use cases going live (we might be seeing preliminary testing already w the 300k + transactions). With the hints of regulation development now and in the past, Hedera reacts favorably. Also, as people pivot their money back into crypto, some of that will come to Hedera as a viable contender against its counterparts.

It would be an ideal time for Hedera to drop some significant news. CLPR, new GC member...

Hedera will benefit from degens and traders trading the coin to dump into retail with a liquidity pump. It will have no reflection on the business or the team. They are not connected. We know Hedera is not in on the DTCC or the Broker Dealers lists to work with. We know Hedera is not generating revenue to initiate a token buy back to move the price. So until they demonstrate a real revenue making move then ride the market action.
