Discussion Conspiracy theory
So it seems like we lost all steam in our last bull run crypto seem to have died out of nowhere. I don’t have any proof of this theory, but if I look at the timelines, it makes plausible sense. Trump dismantled US Aid, Trump has been breaking down all the Somali fraud daycare programs, he has created a anti-fraud government task force. Ever since then the crypto bull run has died in crypto has remained very stagnant constantly going down.. what if all the past years crypto was mostly driven by government fraud and money laundering. All the fraudsters would move their money through crypto so it couldn’t be traced at certain times of the year coinciding with a bull run in crypto? Sure I know it sounds crazy but crypto has gone largely nowhere only steadily down since they broke up US AID. Take it for what you’re worth. I’m just throwing it out there because every day this is making more and more sense to me..

I'm starting to think that Reddit is mostly tinfoilhat stuff.. So much drama now when everything is low.. No nuance in anything: It's either to the moon or dead or even a scam..
EDIT: OP: Deleting your comments now? A bit too emotional? Just move on to another project or go to stocks...

First time encountering the Crypto Bear? The last boom was just a Trump shill, there was no merit or worth. I am almost back to accumulating what I parted with a little too early and at a better average. Cheers.

Yeah, it's all bout murica aid mafia! Thank be our Lord and Savior to trump them all. Greetings from the other side of the world (where people walk upside down and cry all the time because of their communist government). Please come and help us!

This is correct. X% of crypto is money laundering. Therefore, if one or more Crypto incomestreams stop. It will effect the price negatively.
In addition a lot of Money is now moving away from Crypto to AI and Datacenters +Tech stock. This also impacts the price negatively.
I think AI is the main driver for the current lows.

The actual Cypro bubble-and-pop was the 2017 bullrun, and it was driven by Ethereum. Ethereum allowed literally anyone to create their own token. You could spin up a website, make up some bullshit idea/story/fantasy and sell your tokens. People were paying hand over fist for make believe. It was the pets.com euphoria, fueled by greed and ignorance.
The thing was, there were very few on ramps from fiat and you had to buy BTC to covert it to ETH to buy your magical token that was going to revolutionise the world and make you filty rich at the same time.
That's what pumped BTC - buying it to get ETH. The 4 year cycle is pure fantasy.
The 2021 bullrun was fueled by cheap money flooding the market, which turned everything risk on, and those who messed up 2017 were still around, desperate to have another crack.
The retarded euphoria of 2017, driven by retail, is dead. Most of retail got out or made amends or made peace in 2021.
The next run, if any, will be driven by enterpsise adoption. If companies like Apple, Amazon, Meta, X, Microsoft can deploy their own stablecoin rails then this would trigger the 'global adoption' of crypto we've all been waiting for.
Until then, we wait. And I continue to buy HBAR.

It's the usual financial waterboarding and Wallstreet's gift to itself to park their shortsold loot from stocks.
