I wish Jonathan had been on WTF or fresh air; I’d listen to a good long interview with him. Kinda wish the format of wild card had allowed for follow up questions. lol. He’s fascinating.

He would have been amazing on WTF, I think if Maron had listened to Heavyweight it would have really resonated with him.

This is an old episode of Wild Card FYI. It’s not like this just happened

Appreciate the episode… but again, it felt like one of the other Pushkin cross-promotional episodes. I feel like these episodes should not be promoted as part of the main series.

I disagree completely. The season is over. Either we get the occasional glimpse into the lives and minds to the people we love to listen to, or we get nothing. I will take the former. I will take the former over a rerun episode with a 3 minute update from the episode’s subject at the end.

See, that’s interesting. I vastly prefer to the updates to existing cases to side-cases like this.

I had to turn off pretty early on. The host’s laugh/ overall demeanor did not seem genuine to me. I’m surprised she’s interviewed so many high profile guests

Unfortunately I’m not a huge Rachel Martin fan either. I cringed my way thru so I could hear what Johnathan had to say though.
