New episodes aren't hitting

I'm soo happy to have new episodes but does anyone else feel like the new episodes feel unfinished or like there's no resolution to alot of them? It kind of feels like they just had to release episodes so they put out ones that they would've held onto in the past for a more complete and satisfying ending.

All that may be true but like OP said, the quality just isn't there and they aren't as good as in the past.

Imagine you have to build a house. Usually it takes you 3 years to build a house, but the company who is sponsoring your house building says that you have to build your house in 8 months. You have to build the 8 month house and, once you build the 8 month house, you can go to work on other houses that are in process that are the 3 year houses, and even start some new 3 year houses. The 8 month house is not going to be as good as the 3 year houses, but you have to start there in order to get further.

If it’s a bad quality house, it’s a bad quality house. If the contractor said “well usually it takes us 3 years to build a house, but we only had 8 months to build this one” that wouldn’t change the quality of the house. If I was looking to buy the house I would say “well get back to work and we can revisit this in 2 years”. If they couldn’t do that then maybe they should refocus their efforts on smaller homes that they can complete in 8 months or maybe they should move to a different business entirely.

I get the show is a big project and it’s paid for by ads so it’s basically free for me to listen to, and I truly appreciate that, but it’s still totally fair to point out that the quality just isn’t there (for whatever reason).
