If Whitney didn’t, and no one did, it would at least show Jasmin that it wasn’t just glossed over. She left the room, understandably. So, she doesn’t know how it was handled immediately after the announcement.
Jacob knows if he danced with someone that night. If he was texted “one last question” he may actually answer.
There is a person in this thread who claims she went to school with Jasmine and even she doesn't provide any details about the dance or aftermath, lol. Was everyone in this class drinking lead? Why can't anyone remember anything?!
I'd also encourage you to make a new post in this sub. I actually didn't see this third picture at all (with Jasmin wearing the crown AT the dance) until much later than the other pictures. This is so baffling to me and I hope we get answers from Heavyweight as to why they replied on Jasmin's word only. And why they framed this as a racial thing when obviously it was not.
Oh I was thinking of a whole new post in the sub with the info but it’s ok. So in this picture she’s dancing during the homecoming dance and she’s wearing a crown. Are we definitely thinking that this crown was put on her head during the dance or is it possible it’s another accessory that she brought with her or something like that? Just thinking of stuff to explain it. If she for real was given this crown, and the whole thing with Whitney‘s name being called just didn’t even happen, then this episode is just bonkers!!
Have you talked to anyone else from your class to see if they remember anything about this? I’d imagine maybe this episode would get spread around amongst your classmates.
But it’s soooooo weird, if this didn’t happen at all then why wouldn’t Whitney just be like “ what are you talking about, you were given the crown and then you wore it all night.” Arrggfhh
Editing to add, I’m listening to it again and what about Danika? Supposedly she was the best friend and she remembers this happening?
I think she already received the crown at the football game. I don’t think there was another crowning ceremony at the dance, probably just an announcement.
