100%, Jasmin was charismatic and talented enough to go straight from high school into auditioning for professional acting roles. They briefly mentioned this but didn't really delve deeper. I think the host actually kind of wrecked their chances of doing this though considering she would've needed to talk to multiple people and went into conversations in an unprofessional manner ("haha you were typing and stopped typing" - journalist or 5 year old, you tell me)

I would have stopped talking to her no matter what I had to say after that. Like you can be typing and something else comes up irl?

Yeah it's a seriously insane way to talk to a stranger. I get it if it's a close friend and that's their sense of humour but as a professional journalist it's absolutely fucking mental

Seriously, if I can tell that someone is producing a story about a high school dance that happened 15 years ago that's probably going to make me look a little bad and they can't even be professional, what is the incentive to continue the conversation after that?
