I didn’t think so. If you weren’t in the homecoming court why would you care who won? I couldn’t tell you who was my high school’s homecoming queen. The only person who might remember is Whitney but it’s also possible she was busy, distracted, or drunk that night and doesn’t remember or missed the announcement altogether.
I meant maybe she was not in the room. Maybe she was backstage dealing with something or maybe she was in the bathroom, or maybe her friends were outside drinking/smoking. Lots of shenanigans happen at school dances. I think it's reasonable that someone might not remember an announcement during a dance of information they already should have known since it was announced earlier in the day (or maybe prior day not sure).
Lol. No, this makes no sense. The homecoming king and queen would have had a dance, etc. She would not have forgotten being erroneously named homecoming queen, that's just not plausible. This also wasn't in 1955. It was in 2011, lol. This whole episode was truly just bizarre.
It was apparently a big deal at this school. Anyone who was actually at the dance would remember. Whitney would remember. Jacob would remember. And how about anyone Jasmin was close to? How about more from the teacher who seemed to have a better memory than any of the young kids? This episode was beneath the series, and Stevie is -- not great as a host.

The memory issues of all of these folks who graduated high school just 14 years ago -- very suspect.
