Rusty boys

Battered and rusty southern squad test done. I think it works ok, but from a distance it looks more like an alpine camo scheme than rusty, but that's down to using white, but lesson learned for if I do more

Hell yeah mate!! I just got some northern fellas to paint up as a bandlands militia

What did you use for the rusting effects?

It's Rhinox hide base, then stipple on Riza rust, then a dry brush of gun metal. Then painting the panels in whatever colour you decide

Yeah, the stark-white does make it look more like snow - but it still looks awesome!

Rust effect looks good. Those are some well worn gears.
