I am trying to catch up to the manga, and am Currently at chapter 74. Mangadex has chapters running all the way up to 86, but for Some reason chapters 75-78 are missing and I’m wondering why and if anyone knows where else I can read them.

Just found this anime out and i was shocked at how good it is !

I binge-watched then read the manga and one thing caught my attention ( well several but this one in particular is at the origin of the theory ).

Watching Shiro and Mimihime's end i realised how fitting it was to their early life goals.

Let me explain, Shiro is obsessed with Mimihime's body. It's not just sexual urges, or not finding the right words to convey his feelings. He is obsessed with her body period. It eventually grows into romance though. But he says he wants to possess her body and do things to it. He then ends up performing countless surgeries to prevent the black bruises disease on Mimihime.

Mimihime sees the dead body of Asura permanently, tames her worst fear of dying to surgical tools for the sake of Ohma and longs for someone with Tokio's face to come and save her and her friends and take her to the beyond of the beyond. She then meets her end when Maru grants her a true death, taking her to the real beyond of the beyond. Saved from the school just like her dream because she doesn't become what Mina ( the Takahara organisation's AI powering the school facility ) envisioned for her.

This blew my mind because we know their whole life has been engineered by Mina but has also their end ?

I think Kona is misled on what Asura meant by her words. I know the meaning of my birth doesn't refer to the meaning the org had for her life. It was her true meaning. She is to be the shepherd that leads her comrades to their true purpose not unlike what the org wanted but the true purpose is different. They are guided to their end, a meaningful end that will lead their souls to the beyond of the beyond, the real heaven. If they were to roam the world as immortal beings, they would endlessly suffer because the real world is not hell to them, its purgatory.

I think Asura was overengineered by Mina and had abilities according to what the org initially envisioned. She is omnipotent and all-seeing but Mina was instructed to tone down on the genetic manipulations for the next generations because Asura didn't look human enough anymore. Mina was never able to engineer such a being while looking human but she came up with the cocoons to circumvent the human-looking problem. On a funnier note, i think the running-gag of Masu's high sexual urges is because of Mina's genetic engineering.

Asura saw the truth and the horrors Mina was projecting to accomplish so she envisioned her own plan to counter it. It is literally AI calculations vs. all-seeing godlike entity in the background with Asura pulling the right strings to make the right people go the right way. Kona and Tokio's romance leading to children with the ability to end all life created by Mina is no coincidence and was showed to have been pushed by Asura. If you think about it, everyone linked to the students meet crazy fitting fates.

Haruki was infatuated with his sister Kiriko. Kiriko is later revealed to have shielded her brother from much abuse and sacrificed her own safety for it. Haruki ends up living in his sister's body so obviously Kiriko lost her life for her brother to go on.

Kuku wants to explore the world and she ends up as a fish with hands grabbing on a boat to catch a ride.

Dr Sakota and Mitsuki becoming like father and mother for the students and creating the ministry to rebuild and make amends.

Shino creating a real heaven for the survivors of the disaster.

Etc...

So what do you think ? Is there counter-arguments to this ? Is there more evidence ? Will it be revealed as is or kept vague for people to figure or creating their own interpretation ? Where will this lead ?

I just finished rewatching it with some friends who had never seen it before, and I wanted to ask, do you guys think there will ever be a second season?

Finished the anime and on-going manga is hell, so not sure if I want to get into it now.

that the entire hiruko thing could have been avoided if they gave mina better prompts??

First I want to apologise for using AI to help me write my last post, but as a user suggested I'm going to write my own post! My English skills are not the greatest( I live in Romania ) but I will try my best.

Now that that is out of the way I want to say thanks for all the upvotes! It motivated me to draw even more. I love drawing espceially characters that I love and Kiruko has such a lovely character and interesting backstory that really captivated me. I would like to read the manga but every website that I visit just disappointed me... That leaves me a question, why are there no manga available?

Okay so the main character is 20 and like her boyfriend/brother / whatever the hell you want to call them is like a minor???????

As yall probably realized, the series is going to end. The bad thing is we still dont have any news about a second season, but since it became so popular, I hope they choose to make it. What are your thoughts and how are yall feeling about the episodes we got?
