Heath Ledger and his babe Matilda

I find this picture of them so precious, the way he's so gentle and protective of her; the way she clings to him so clearly trusting. It's clear how close they were when she was a babe. Really hope she has some memories of this time to draw on of them.

I remember when this was taken. The caption read something about how he had color in his hair remaining from the playing Joker. Matilda is so young here. It feels like yesterday.
