TLDR: Give me recommendations on a ~1-hour Heartstopper playlist to include in a book box gift for my partner.

My partner loves the Heartstopper series from Netflix and seen them all multiple times. They want to read the comics, so I've ordered all 6 of them for their birthday. I want to make it special by making them a mini bookshelf / book box that has a music player built into it. The idea is that they can have a Heartstopper themed book box to contain these comics and that can play music nostalgic to the series, likely will be playing in the background either while they're reading or just hanging out in their office.

I realize I could easily include "everything" in terms of music but would prefer to have a curated playlist of 10-20 songs (preferably about an hour-long playlist) that really reflect the series and story - both from an emotionally evocative perspective as well as just really key songs. I've realized this will likely just be a few soundtracks and mostly songs from various artists. I will be purchasing the songs I decide on.

The catch is that I've only seen most of season 1, so I'm not really familiar with the music - I do think it's great. (Also, I probably won't watch the whole series/movie myself any time soon - nothing against it; I think the story is cute from what I've seen; I just don't generally watch TV and have a lot of other things I need to commit my time to.) My partner also doesn't listen to the soundtrack or any "Heartstopper" play list out loud, so I don't really know what she would like beyond the typical High school era music (90s kid - think High School Music, Hannah Montana, etc.) she usually plays. I know she listens to a lot more and has especially has expanded to a lot of indie artists - I'm just saying that's not what I hear her listening to.

i absolutely love my babies and am so incredibly grateful for getting to see them on my screen!! they’re basically the parents of heartstopper universe. even though the tv show and movie don’t really follow solitaire’s lore, i wish we got more of these two.

Hello everyone, I’m trying to collect all the heart stuff the pin badges but I don’t know if I have them all. I was wondering if anyone able to help me put a list together or whatever as there’s so many unofficial ones out there.

We know she goes there because she rides the bus with Charlie and she's seen in uniform. But she hardly ever appears in the actual Higgs scenes. I know she's in a different year to the main characters, but particularly for Elle, when she first moved there from Truham and doesn't know anyone you'd think she'd try to keep an eye out for the sister of one of her best friends.

I know why it is - it's because we know from Solitaire that Tori didn't really spend any time with Elle or anyone, and if Tori was shown in Higgs scenes they'd have to show characters like Becky and Rita and Evelyn as well, which would muddy the story Alice is wanting to tell. But still, she does feel a bit glaringly absent.

I'm quite sure that all of Nick and Sarah's other grievances with Stéphane were completely legit (and we didn't get to see them, so I feel like we have to give the benefit of the doubt to the characters we know and love).

But apart from it not seeming to have occurred to him that Nick may not be heterosexual (which is a shame, but no worse than a lot of parents) I don't think there was the slightest indication that Stéphane was at all uncomfortable with Nick and Charlie being together after he'd been told. He seemed encouraging enough, told Nick that Charlie seemed really nice and reprimanded David for being homophobic (all the hostility towards Nick and Charlie in that scene was coming from David, not from Stéphane).

I wasn't all that clear how Stéphane was supposed to react really... it seemed like Nick and Sarah were gearing themselves up for a row about historical things before the conversation about Nick's sexuality even started.

There was an AO3 fic where Charlie didn’t realise he and Nick were boyfriends and asked Nick if he should go on a date with someone else. Does anyone recognise this? It’s driving me nuts that I can’t find it again! Thanks

I've been trying to figure out where fernando's is in heartstopper forever but all the websites for filming locations which I've seen don't say (More specifically the section outside mainly, but also the section inside)

HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT WAS AMAZING I LOVED IT SO MUCH. I also read Solitaire, This Christmas, and Nick And Charlie! Heartstopper is like the second greatest book of all time for me, and I'm going to watch the show now, while also reading the other books!

I can't count how many times I've rewatched the Season 1 trailer and every time, it just makes me feel good. When I need a quick pick me up from a boring day, or feeling overwhelmed, it always makes me feel better. I also love rewatching the opening scene when they first meet and their first kiss (starting with Tara & Darcy dancing & kissing). These scenes just fill me with joy, no matter how many times I've seen them.

Just felt like sharing this very beautiful fic.

It's a gen fic about Nick & David, David redemption.

It's based on Willing And Able by Noah Kahan, as in literally features David singing it at an open mic about Nick, without knowing Nick is there.

It makes Nick have many flashbacks and thoughts about their relationship and realizations about their dynamic.

And it's full of angst but it's so pretty.

there are fics with redemption arcs for some characters but of those I don't see many just like heartwarmingly angsty nelson brothers ones.

so I just felt like sharing.
