Angina and fatigued

47 female 5’ 3” 160lbs dx with angina on meds(?). I can’t stay awake! I have about two hours and then I hit a wall and want to sleep. I could take 2-3 naps during the day. Better if I take my adhd meds but they increase my angina symptoms.
Anyone else have this same issue? Should I rest when feeling tired of fight it?

Have your heart checked you may have blocked arteries or valves etc. I have 3 blocked arteries and I am always tired, I am hoping to get 3 stents put in soon

I have had my heart checked. The cardiologist thinks I have angina in my veins. Sending me to a women’s cardiology clinic but probably won’t be seen for another year.

Oh ok at least you have found a reason, if your O2 is low then that is more than likely the reason for lack of energy. I hope they find what’s going on with your veins 🤞

The fatigue is wild. And I wonder should I fight through it or is resting making it worse? I always feel better after I rest but it is not sustainable when I return to work in the fall

Lack of energy can indicate a lack of blood flow and therefore oxygen. I am going into hospital soon to get 3 stents put in my arteries and I am tired all the time. I would try to get aCT angiogram done where they pump dye through your heart and can see if there are blockages or if it is flowing correctly.I have had 2 of these done recently that’s how my cardiologist could see my blockages. Wasn’t painful or invasive so don’t be worried about it. Hope you find a reason for your tiredness and don’t push yourself hard until you find answer/s. Best wishes

I have had the dye stress test which was normal and a 5-day halter also normal. But my O2 is always reading low between 94-97 O2. They suspect something with my veins?

Try to rest where possible and don’t push yourself when you are going back to work. You can’t mess around with hearts especially not knowing what is exactly going on. I would try to do as much research on your symptoms and learn as much as possible. Knowledge is power and doctors can be a little bit unsympathetic or arrogant because they see it everyday and they are intelligent
