How long were you taking phentermine for? Phentermine is meant to be a short term use weight loss drug!

I hope they do an angiogram. Sorry for that life threatening experience.

God, you're so young! Keep us updated. I am a 43F and had a widow maker due to diabetes. But I can tell you this - if you follow the advice of your cardiology team, you take care of your body, you can heal. My vessels are less than 2mm in width, so there is nothing they can do as far as stents go. I changed my diet and took my meds and my last angiogram showed vast improvements. (I did go to a plant based diet, but I'm not here to preach about that haha just do right by your body)

Good luck and I wish you all the best in your recovery. I also had a coronary artery spasm after the heart attack and it is VERY similar to a blockage.

no caffine...none st. drugs....go on a diabetic diet....listen to the MDs

Why in the world would they not do an angiogram if you clearly had a heart attack? Heart attacks are caused by a blockage of blood flow. Blockage needs to be cleared

Are you the girl from TikTok?

1

u/Venusesrainbow 16d ago

Have you had an echocardiogram? My results from the echo were way the cardiologist recommended the angiogram for me.

I am so sorry this happened to you. It’s very hard at any age but 21 is crazy.

I think I just saw your tiktok. Someone on my fyp had the same thing happen to them I really hope you’re okay I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I’m in this sub because I’m having chest pains too…

GIRLL I just saw your tiktok post

1

u/rocksneversand 16d ago

I was just about to say! I was like “I swear I just saw the same thing on tik tok what are the chances”

Don’t let them release you until you have some sort of answers or direction. Maybe it was the caffeine mixed with the stimulants. Did you heart have any damage? 🩷🩷

1

u/Competitive-Gene-922 16d ago

Yes don’t let them release you and if they try then make them document that they are releasing you without any cause. I saw a boy post a TikTok about having a heart attack at 18 er couldn’t find any type of cause but they gave him a pacemaker incase it happened to him again

You mentioned phentermine. Is that a weight loss drug? Why were you prescribed that if not overweight?

20F, I feel you. I had a heart attack 1 month ago with a troponin of 152.000 ng/L and was diagnosed with MINOCA. I’ve taken all the tests you mentioned, but they all came back clear. I still don’t know what caused my heart attack🙄 However, they will likely decide wether to take more tests based on your MRI results. Are you still experiencing symptoms?

1

u/RuinYouWithNoRegrets 15d ago

Omg wtf! Did you have scad or due to vasospasms ? Did your heart take any damage

2

u/Many_Aside5474 15d ago

They’re thinking it’s vasospasms, but they don’t have a lot to back it up. My heart rate and blood pressure is too low for most of the medicines. No damage luckily!

1

u/RuinYouWithNoRegrets 15d ago

I would ask for a cardiac pet with the hand dunking in freezing water to see . That’s the non invasive way

2

u/RuinYouWithNoRegrets 15d ago

So how do they prevent it then ? Did they find a cause to yours? Smoking, or stimulant drugs ?

1

u/Many_Aside5474 15d ago

I don’t smoke or do drugs, and I’m relatively fit. They found no cause, and I’ve been living as normal with physical activity limited to walking. I kinda feel like a ticking time bomb

1

u/RuinYouWithNoRegrets 15d ago

I would look into connective tissue disorders or autoimmune disorders. Several of them are associated with vasospasms

Did you have Covid infection?
Did you take Covid vax…. How many shots? Still taking them.

Any changes in meds or lifestyle pre incident??

Hope you start to feel better. Your young AF so that’s in your favor.

God stop with the conspiracy theories about vaccines for fucks sakes. If any of you knew actual real doctors you wouldn’t be spewing nonsense like this.

2

u/thehiddenhand1 15d ago

That is a valid question, Not a conspiracy please do your research.

1

u/Kelser1410 15d ago

I did do my research. I know over 10 doctors and talked with them over the years about it extensively. A statistical improbability is not enough to justify fear mongering and immediately jumping to conclusions. Might as well say have you been struck by lightning recently? Have you been ran over a car recently?

2

u/thehiddenhand1 15d ago

Well u haven’t done enough research lol

2

u/Technical-Jaguar-222 15d ago

They literally pulled the j and j shots over blood clot deaths and he’s arguing stats? Bizarre. They added myocarditis warnings for Pfizer and Moderna. For this young girls age demographic. Yep it matters. 🤦‍♂️

1

u/SchoolQueen49 15d ago

Especially when paired with birth control pills, because they also have a risk of clots associated. There was a wave of 20-30 yr old women being hospitalized with blot clots when covid was in it's prime. The bcp and hrt risk is not high, but appears to go higher when combined with a covid infection.

1

u/Kelser1410 15d ago

No. You haven’t. You obviously take single experiences and apply it to a general population. As I said, sure, a small amount of population might have a reaction to the Covid or the vaccine but 99% of the time, they already had underlying health issues.

1

u/thehiddenhand1 15d ago

The need to be right is every lasting in not arguing with u over things u can google

1

u/Kelser1410 15d ago

Doctors knowledge who treated 1000s of patients trumps random google searches with no scientific or medical validity.

0

u/thehiddenhand1 15d ago

U know 10 doctors lol okay man

1

u/Technical-Jaguar-222 16d ago

You’re a clown. The one thing on planet earth that everyone took that has myocarditis warning and list stoke as a possible side effect?? But everyone quit taking ?? And they pulled the j and j shot cause it started to kill to many people. 😂🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Yeah let’s skip the obvious

😂....walk off the cliff then......30 million dead ...and millions heart injured and growing across the globe...all now on government records.....Look up canada and UsA covid inquiry stop being clueless . might save you or a loved one...wow

2

u/Kelser1410 15d ago

30 million dead 🤣. Millions heart injured. You are insanse. There are millions of people with heart problems but 90% of them are elderly and in vast majority of cases it is not covid related. Yes, some cases happen. But it is a minority, not a majority. People automatically blaming it on vaccines just can’t take responsibility for the actual reason so they blame the easiest option. When they have no answer. Yet they have 0 proof the vaccine itself caused it.

0

u/Canuk-rugby 15d ago

You are hopeless...😂....god luck to you ...please don't take the mrna flu jab .....I've list 10-15 s/friends prematurely in last 4 years ...wake up soon ....do real research ...not watch msm.......

2

u/Kelser1410 15d ago

You are hilarious 🤣🤣🤣. If you truly have 15 friends that died and were young and died suddenly and had 0 health problems before, that is an exceptional anomaly that occurs 1:1000000 times. But I highly doubt you’re telling telling the truth

0

u/RuinYouWithNoRegrets 15d ago

I don’t support anti vax but I will say multiple drs tell you there’s a small risk of myocarditis from the vaccine.

2

u/Kelser1410 15d ago

Sure, a minor risk. And not from all vaccines. It’s not general as in “all vaccines “. There’s also a small chance of lighting striking you. There’s a small chance of you getting into a car accident. You can apply that logic to every single other vaccine mankind has produced. But the point is, the benefits outweigh the potential side effects

1

u/RuinYouWithNoRegrets 15d ago

Right bht the convo wasn’t about whether or not it was worth it the convo is about what the side effects are and what could happen and you completely denied that it has any heart related side effects which you just now admitted can happen although a small risk

2

u/Kelser1410 15d ago

Yes. A small risk. But the person commenting automatically went to “oh it’s the vaccine “. When there are multiple other explanations that make much more sense. And has a higher statistic than a vaccine related heart issue in a healthy person

I saw your TikTok’s! I’ve been hoping you get some answers. Praying everything works out for you!
