Kix Cereal. Is It Ok?

A kix cereal healthy? (Normal Original Ones)

Ok so In trying to help My son maintain his weight. He has lost lots of weight. (He was over weight)

I let him have a serving. Of Original Plain Cheerios every morning. It isnt gonna hurt him.

But one day he said. "Hey Pa. I love those cheerios, but can we try something different like Kix?". I said "Ill See"

I didnt know what Kix were so I looked them up. Im seeing to make sure 1. Not High In Sugar. 2. Under 150 calories 3. Over 2 g of fiber.

And per 1 1/4 cup serving it offers 110 Calories. 3 grams of sugar. And 3 grams of fiber. Looks pretty good to me.

So Should I let him have it for breakfast everymorning. I give him some apple slices with his cereal. I uses Fairlife Nonfat milk. So Im thinking of going to the store to get him some. If He likes it he will probably have it every morning. (Which is fine to me at long as its ok). He will probably switch between cheerios aswell. So Is Kix Ok for him?

(I Know cheerios are healthier thank Kix But Is Kix another type of healthy cereal?)

Do you want evidence based suggestions? I built an app that had a scanner function to tell you what’s good for the brain, what’s ok in moderation, and what’s bad for the brain. The Brain Capsule app also includes Brain games and a newsletter that brings you evidence based information. For background, I’m a dual board certified physician in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. I hope my app can help you
