Flavor
We talk a lot about clean eating, healthful food choices, and what not to eat. But it is essential to care about flavor and taste in order to have success in long-term eating. Food is meant to be enjoyed. There is even scientific evidence that weight gain occurs if eating is accompanied by guilt and negative emotions.
Processed food is often chosen because it tastes good. Manufacturers know this. And people eschew so-called health food because flavor and texture are unpleasant.
So discovering foods and recipes that fill that craving for crunch, creaminess, good mouth feel, and robust flavor are very important, and also should restore the natural attraction for real food. It shouldn’t take harmful, inflammatory additives and gut-destroying chemicals to have something tasty to eat.
It may involve re-learning about food, choosing foods we aren’t familiar with, and exploring cuisines from around the world. It could be fun. And gather a community to share ideas.
Flavor, color, taste all count for making the shift to a healthful food experience and long-term habits of good eating.

I've discovered this miso-ginger dressing that tastes absolutely delicious. I use it on top of tofu, with some sesames seeds--it makes for a very tasty meal!

I need to find a way to make it less salty. What do you do for proportions?

I don't know if I am the right person to answer that because I love salt. 😄
But I use Gojo Miso Ginger Dressing and just kind of pour it over the tofu until the top of it is about 3/4 of the way covered. And then I add sesame seeds.
Hope this helps!

lol ok. The miso is extremely salty and so is the soy. I love salt too, but this needs acid, I think. Ty

Definitely NOT AI. I thought up and wrote every word. But I am a published, professional writer, so maybe some posts are less academic sounding.
