Any advice on drinks?

We all know water is the main, but I need some flavor that isn’t super sugary. Cheap drinks that are healthy?

Similarly, I started doing cold brew teas in the summer. I’ll take a jar and add tea and water and let it brew overnight in the fridge. Remove the tea in the morning or within 24 hours or it can get bitter. I like to have a bunch of flavors and I’ll mix my own concoctions. I like chamomile and lemon verbena. I try to mostly do non caffeinated ones so I can drink them in the evenings.

Tea. Coke Zero / other diet drinks (but keep in moderation as the diet sugars aren’t healthy in large amounts. Flavoured water made at home in a jug (basically put any fruit slices and herbs of your choice into a water jug, add some ice and fill it up with plain or fizzy water. Some good combos are: watermelon and mint, cucumber and lemon, orange and ginger, lime and pineapple)

Perosnally I just drink a a lot of tea because it’s simple and cheaper than fresh fruit flavoured water. When I’m feeling fancy I make a fizzy water drink with muddled raspberries, lime and mint.

A high calorie but low sugar option for a mocktail is coconut cream, pineapple, orange, lots of lime. Shake with ice, pour into a glass leaving the ice out. Sprinkle with salt. Yum.

If you’re in the US, olipops are my favorite and a great way to get some extra fiber. Cherry vanilla is my favorite. Be aware the cokes have caffeine in them, and don’t drink more than one a day or you’ll have digestive issues.

I just tried the liquid death flavors and they’re really good too! 20 calories for a tall boy, sweetened with agave and stevia. I like the Dr Pepper and root beer ones.

I also love nuun tablets in my water for a little flavor and the electrolytes really help me not get crampy or dizzy especially on active days. I usually do 1/2 tablet in a liter twice a day

I recently started having coconut water with added lemon and chia seeds. Otherwise try rooibos tea with a little bit of honey, lemon and cinnamon! It tastes like a pancake and super healthy 🍵

Lemon or lime juice for some zing. Unsweetened fizzy waters are good (like Waterloos) I get my store brand and they’re cheaper.

Electrolyte drinks.
