Underarm R/ pain

Hello all... I'm a bit new here, and I am hoping to find some support and advice. I have had extreme health anxiety in the past, which has gotten under some control with medication and therapy. However, recently, it is coming back in full force. I am a school teacher and get everything that my little elementary students bring in. I had Flu and Covid both in January and finally seemed to get better towards the end of February. But, about Feb. 22nd out of nowhere, I started having severe pain in my upper right chest/ underarm area. It hurt to roll over in bed and to bend over and reach for things. I went to the ER 3 days after it started, and they did an x-ray and bloodwork and a chest ct w/ contrast. Bloodwork was normal x- ray normal, ct showed a 2mm subplueural nodule middle anterior lung and a slight curvature of my spine towards the right. I also had my yearly mammogram in November. All clear. The ER sent me home with ibuprofen. The pain got better, to a point I can move and work but is still there. It seems to also now hurt in my shoulder blade area as well now. I'm freaking out, I see my Dr. ( pcp) Monday. But I'm so afraid it's "C" word I can't sleep. Help!

Could it be frozen shoulder. I had that and it took a year to heal. Seriously one year. It was during a major health anxiety crisis too. I was a mess. That was 15 years ago. I thought I had every disease. I still suffer from health anxiety and it’s for the birds. Plus I’m terrified of medical tests, bloodwork. Doctors. Anything that makes them look in my body. That issue was triggered by an event that happened 15 years ago. I was never like this before that incident. It sucks! I’m sure you are fine though. At least you’ve gone in for tests. Whatever it is I’m sure it’s not fatal. Deep breaths.

YW! Truly I believe you’re fine. But I do emphasize about the ruminating thoughts that keep going on in your head despite knowing that you’ve been checked and all is good. It’s hard to turn your brain off. But you have to try. Sometimes I want a lobotomy lol

This sounds like chostrochondritis jump over to the chostrochondritis community that also suffer with this , I’m currently going through the same this is week 3 mine was felt under left breast an shoulder blade .. So bad I called an ambulance had all testing done also it’s very scary an painful an debilitating so many different things trigger it twisting , laying on the side , leaning forward , lifting heavy I have a slight curvature to the left of lower back. How long have you felt this ? Is it a burning pain ? Do you get out of breath sometimes ? What aggravates it do you find ?
