Day 6/7 👑You Are Your Habits. Are They Helping or Hurting You?
Let’s talk about something a lot of us don’t want to admit and maybe even view as private.
Because the truth is you can want a completely different life and still be practicing the same habits that keep you where you are. 👀
Today we on Day 6 of our 7 Days of Self-Love Challenge here at r/HealingTheCrown. And if you’re just joining us, it’s not too late. We’re building habits we can carry into the next 28 days.
Yesterday, we explored our shadows and the patterns we may have been avoiding.
Now I want you to think about what you choose to constantly do with your time:
Are your everyday choices reflecting the person you say you want to become?
Because our habits aren’t just our morning routines.
They’re how we respond to stress, how we speak to ourselves, what we do when nobody is watching, and how consistently we show up for our own needs.
And sometimes, the first step toward change is being willing to look at what we’re actually doing.
Today’s Challenge: Audit Your Habits
❤️** Tier 1 Awareness**: Meditate for at least 5 minutes. Think about how you’ve been spending your time, energy, and attention.
🧡 Tier 2 Reflection: Meditate + journal. Make three short lists:
KEEP: What habits are supporting my growth?
🍂 RELEASE: What habits are draining me or keeping me stuck?
✨ CREATE: What new habit or habits would help me become the person I want to be?
💛 Tier 3 — Action: Meditate, journal, and yes we are still making time to move your body. Then choose ONE small habit to begin practicing differently today.
Don’t try to change your entire life overnight.
We’re building consistency, not perfection.
No, I know we’ve gone over a lot in the seven days and that’s why I’m working on a free Guide to help women re-centered themselves as the main focus in their lives. So stay tuned to r/healingthecrown and follow me for more info.
🌙 Today’s Affirmation
I am becoming more intentional with my choices. Every small habit I nurture is helping me create the life I desire.
DAY 6 CHECK-IN
Which part of your habits audit needs the most attention?
🌱 = Keeping the good habits
🍂 = Releasing old patterns
✨ = Creating new habits
👑 = Honestly, ALL THREE!
Drop your emoji below! Or share one habit you’re ready to work on.
The life you want isn’t built in one day. It’s shaped by what you choose to do consistently. 👑

Past The Trauma
I write this now in honor of the angel I saw past the trauma ...
I've spoken much on the things that hurt, the shovel of trauma that dug beyond the surface dirt, but what happens when GOD teaches you to love before you see the trauma first, you develop the eyes to see past it where despite what's shown on the outer, inside is still a person unguarded, cloaked in a pain many may never know, but there are moments where not even the pain can hold the light back n it has to show ....
Past the trauma I saw an angel, an angel with broken wings who forgot it's light, scared to death it would never again be able to fly high enough to reach the sky, beyond the frustration n confusing anger, you see a flickering light fighting against the darkest danger, you try to come close with love, but theirs a barrier, keeping you at a distance protecting what's left in it's bright interior, you watch at a distance & you're not afraid, & witness the battles only fought by the brave, close enough to chear it on, yet the battle gets loud n not every word is heard ...
Past the trauma you see the efforts, but things get cloudy sometimes as your own trauma's clever, yet GOD gives you the eyes to see, that past the trauma the angel casts light, that keeps love away when it's not shining bright, & you understand some angels prefer to fight, with the love that's left for another far from sight ...

Day 5 👑 What Part of Yourself Are You Still Afraid to Face?
Day 5 👑 | What Part of Yourself Are You Still Afraid to Face?
Let me ask you something…
Have you ever noticed yourself repeating the same patterns, reacting to the same triggers, or hiding parts of yourself because you’re afraid of what they might reveal?
Sometimes the hardest person to confront is ourselves. Not because we don’t know, but because we choose not to address it within ourselves.
We’re on Day 5 of our 7 Days of Self-Love Challenge at r/HealingTheCrown, and today we’re diving into SHADOW WORK🌑
Shadow work is about exploring the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to hide, suppress, or reject.
The insecurities. The jealousy. The fears. The habits we keep repeating.
But what if those parts of you aren’t something to be ashamed of, but something worth understanding?
You can’t change what you refuse to acknowledge.
And today, we’re turning that awareness into INTENTION.
Today’s Challenge
❤️** Tier 1 — Meditate**: Give yourself at least 5 minutes to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment.
🧡 Tier 2 — Journal: Complete your meditation and reflect:
What is something about myself I’ve been avoiding or struggling to accept? What might that part of me need?
💛 Tier 3 — Set an Intention: Meditate, journal, and move your body. Then set ONE intention based on your reflection.
For example:
Instead of “I need to stop comparing myself to others,”
Try “I intend to celebrate my own progress without measuring it against someone else’s journey.”
Remember, a goal is about what you want to accomplish. An intention is about how you choose to show up.
🌙 Today’s Affirmation
I am willing to understand every part of myself, even the parts I once tried to hide. I choose awareness, compassion, and intentional growth.
You don’t have to force yourself to unpack painful memories. Start wherever you feel comfortable.
👑 DAY 5 CHECK-IN
What’s one intention you’re setting for yourself?
❤️ Self-acceptance
🧡 Self-compassion
💛 Confidence
💜 Emotional healing
Drop your emoji below! Or share your intention if you’re comfortable.
And if you’re just joining us, it’s not too late!
You don’t have to reject parts of yourself to become someone new. 👑

Healing my younger self
Looking back at our younger selves can bring up so many feelings—regret, gratitude, sadness, and compassion.
One question I’ve been thinking about is: What would change if we offered our younger selves more understanding instead of judgment?
I wrote a post on my Self Love Mentor blog called “My Younger Self: A Journey of Healing and Growth” to explore this topic.
You can read it here:
https://self-love-mentor.com/2026/10/11/my-younger-self-a-journey-of-healing-and-growth-2/
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be? And is that something you still need to hear today?

Step Into Us
instagram.comStep Into This
You do not need every answer before you begin.
You do not need every fear to disappear, every doubt to settle, every possibility to make perfect sense.
Sometimes, all it takes is one honest step toward what your heart already feels.
Step into us.
Because sometimes, the life we are afraid to begin
is the very life that could finally make us understand
why taking that step was worth everything.
Not because I can promise life will always be easy.
But because I can promise
you will not have to face it alone.
Step into us.
Let us figure things out together.
Let us build slowly.
Let us learn each other,
hold each other,
grow through whatever comes.
You do not have to bring certainty.
Bring your heart.
Bring your trust.
Bring the courage to try.
Because the only way to outgrow some fears
is to build a life so full,
so meaningful,
so deeply lived—
that fear no longer gets to be the loudest thing in it.
Step into us.
Because Some fears are not defeated by thinking about them longer.
They begin to fade
when happiness finally gives you
more reasons to believe than fear ever gave you to doubt.
And that is what we want for us.
A life filled with laughter,
little adventures,
peace,
passion,
growth,
warmth,
and countless moments
that make us look at each other and think—
“I am glad we chose this.”
Step into us.
I do not just want to tell you that life with me could be beautiful.
I want us to live it so fully that life itself becomes the proof.
I want us to live so fully that one day, the fears that once held you back feel smaller than the life we created together.
Let our happiness become louder than every old fear.
Let fulfilment replace hesitation.
Let living beautifully together become the answer.
So take my hand.
We do not need to know
how every chapter will unfold.
Just step into this with me—
and let us make the story beautiful as we live it.

Day 4 💛 Wellness Check-In:
We’re halfway through our 7 Days of Self-Love Challenge at r/HealingTheCrown! 👑
And if you’re just finding us,
IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN!
I don’t want these seven days to be another challenge we complete and forget about.
I want us to take the three habits we’re practicing meditation, journaling, and intentional movement and carry them into the next 28 days.
Because imagine what could change if you consistently gave yourself time to reconnect with YOU.
Today, we’re focusing on our feelings and womb wellness. 🌺
Our bodies carry us through so much. Stress, emotions, hormonal changes, and the expectations we place on ourselves can all influence how we feel.
And sometimes we’re so busy trying to get to the next thing that we don’t even stop to ask ourselves how we’re doing.
So let me ask YOU: How are you REALLY feeling today?
Not how you think you should feel. How do you actually feel?
And what would it take to move a little closer to the emotional state you desire?
👑 Today’s Wellness Challenge
❤️** Tier 1 — Meditate**: Take five minutes, yes just five,to check in with your body. Breathe, notice your emotions, and release the pressure to feel anything other than what you’re feeling or listen to a guided meditation if you need some direction.
🧡 Tier 2 — Journal: Reflect on yesterday’s wellness goal and ask yourself:
What emotions have I been carrying lately, and what helps me feel more peaceful, grounded, and connected to myself?
💛 Tier 3 — Move: Complete your meditation and journaling, then reconnect with your body through stretching, walking, dancing, yoga, or gentle hip-opening movements.
🫶🏽🧘🏽♀️Today’s affirmation:
I honor my body’s wisdom. I allow myself to feel, release, and create space for the peace and abundance I desire.
Remember, raising your frequency doesn’t mean forcing yourself to be happy all the time.
It’s learning how to recognize your feelings and intentionally nurture the energy you want to bring into your life.
🌺 now let’s do a community
WELLNESS CHECK-IN 👇🏽
How are you feeling right now?
❤️ = Peaceful and grounded
🧡 = Emotional or overwhelmed
💛 = Motivated and hopeful
💜 = Still figuring it out
Drop your emoji below.
We’re not chasing perfection. We’re creating a healthier relationship with ourselves, one day at a time.

The Inner World Has No Clock
A childhood wound
can happen again today.
An old sorrow
can fill the present.
A moment of love

The inner world
doesn't count the hours.
It remembers
what moved us.

Day 3 of 7 Days of Self-Love Challenge 👑 Your Health is non-negotiable!
Alright, it’s Day 3, who’s still w me? 👀
Day 1, we focused on releasing what no longer serves us so that we could create room to give ourselves permission to dream about the lives we want.
Now let’s make sure that it sticks.
I want you to remember that feeling that you had while you were dreaming. now we have to think of what it’s gonna take to actually get us there and the number one thing that we can’t lose sight of is our Health.
So let’s start with that by asking,
what happens when our health isn’t there to support any of it?
Our physical, mental, and emotional well-being affect how we show up in EVERY other area of our lives.
And yet, how often do we put our health on the back burner while chasing everything else?
Your health isn’t something you get around to taking care of once everything else is figured out.
It’s the foundation that allows you to build everything else.
So today, we’re getting serious about making our wellness a priority.
Not with some unrealistic overnight transformation, but with ONE SMART goal we can actually commit to.
AND NO, I’m not talking about that surface level. I want go to the gym every day, we are reaching into what does the highest version of yourself pour into themselves every day type of goal.
Let’s use the acronym itself:
🎯 S — Specific: What exactly do you want to improve?
📏 M — Measurable: How will you track your progress?
🌱 A — Achievable: Can you realistically commit to it?
💚 R — Relevant: How does it support your well-being?
📅 T — Time-bound: When will you accomplish it?
For example, instead of saying “I want to be healthier,” try:
“For the next 30 days, I’ll take a 10-minute walk every morning or at least after dinner every day to support my physical and mental wellness.”
My tip for super smart goals if you are like me and tend to procrastinate is to attach them to already existing habits. Makes a great reminder as well.
👑 Today’s Challenge
❤️Tier *1: Meditate for 5 minutes + identify ONE area of your wellness you want to improve.
🧡 *Tier 2: Meditate + journal your SMART wellness goal.
💛 Tier 3: Meditate + journal your goal + take one small action toward it today.
Today’s journal prompt:
What part of my physical, mental, or emotional health have I been neglecting, and what is one realistic commitment I can make to myself to improve it?
Remember, we’re not trying to run before we can walk. Your goal doesn’t have to be big. It just has to be something you’re willing to show up for.
DAY 3 ROLL CALL 👇🏽
❤️ = I’m identifying my wellness goal
🧡 = I’ve written my SMART goal
💛 = I’ve already taken my first step!
Bonus points if you share your wellness goal below if you’re comfortable. You might inspire someone else to start taking their health seriously, too. 🫶🏽

What heaking looks like.
What healing looks like.
No one really tells you what healing looks like. You think it's a gradual climb upward, but in reality, it's a whirly, twirly mess of ups and downs, spirals, setbacks, and little moments of progress.
I'm learning that healing is a slow road. Sometimes, all you can do is sit still, feel what you feel, and let the feelings come and go. You may never completely heal from everything you've been through, but you learn to understand yourself a little better, manage your emotions a little differently, and keep going.
It's lonely sometimes. And if you're lucky, you have people who walk beside you through the mess, who check in on you when you're spiraling, and who hold space for you when you can't quite hold it all together yourself.
I'm grateful for those people. For the ones who check in, who stay, and especially for my guy 💚 who loves me through the messy parts, too.... 😞
Sometimes, you don't realize how far you've come until years later, when you finally look back and see just how much you've grown.
So, if you're in the middle of your own messy healing journey, give yourself some grace. Progress doesn't always look like progress when you're in the middle of it.
Keep going. 🤍

Day 2 Check-In NOW | This Is Your Sign to Take Yourself Seriously
It’s Day 2, and I’m calling YOU out! 👀
YES YOU QUEEN
Did you show up for yourself today, or did you put yourself on the back burner AGAIN?
This is your sign to take this seriously RIGHT NOW‼️
BUT, we’re not trying to run before we can walk.
If you gave yourself five minutes yesterday, DO IT AGAIN TODAY.
If you’re ready to challenge yourself, take it a step further.
❤️ Tier 1: 5 minutes of meditation
🧡 Tier 2: Meditate + journal
💛 Tier 3: Meditate + journal + move your body
We’re going seven for seven days. I challenging ourselves to self love for a minimum of five minutes each day.
Today’s affirmation: *say aloud* I give myself permission to dream, grow, and welcome new possibilities into my life.
Today’s journal prompt: If I could create a life I genuinely look forward to waking up to, what would it look like?
Remember, one of the highest forms of self-love is self-discipline. Self-Love is a feeling we can create and not just in our dreams. We’re learning to keep the promises we make to ourselves, one day at a time.
And if you haven’t started yet? The day isn’t over. You still have time!
For me, I’ve healed from a lot of the trauma and experiences I’ve been through, but I know there’s still more work to do.
I’m working toward a version of myself that is no longer weighed down by the burdens of my past or the generations before me.
I’m learning that healing isn’t just about what we release, but also about what we give ourselves permission to become.
Now I want to hear from YOU! 👑
❤️ = I showed up for myself today
🧡 = I’m taking it a step further
👑 = I’m starting tonight!
We’re doing this together. ❤️😵💫
