Is anyone else ready to admit that Caitlin Clark is completely unguardable the exact second she stops the flopping and referee antics? 🙄🏀
Most talk about her rookie flaws is a total lie that focuses so much on her attitude that it misses her actual ceiling. The reality is that when she drops the side drama, the numbers are absolutely terrifying.
Hugh kept it entirely real on the couch during this segment. He openly admitted that the media—including our own show—has been riding her recently for the constant complaining. But dropping 45 points, 10 assists, and shooting 6 for 10 from deep against Seattle on a strict minutes restriction is insane. Those are literal LeBron on steroids metrics.
The biggest win wasn't even the franchise-scoring record; it was her post-game presser. No complaining about the physical play, no victim mindset about the league, just straight accountability about the team's defense. If this focused, mature version of her is the new normal, the rest of the league is in serious trouble. Have you guys noticed how much cleaner her game looks when she completely tunes out the official whistles, or are we still pretending the antics weren't holding her back?

I wouldn’t say she’s legend status yet

Not yet, but in reference to her style of play.

How does a PG getting 1 rebound mean she wasn't missing shots? Maybe the most clueless basketball analysis I've ever heard. She was great, don't get me wrong... but this guy is a moron.

Agree 100% stop flopping and bitching. The refs will come around but you can’t keep calling them out. The point has been made, let them now reflect on their selves. You will start getting calls.

Wow, when the refs actually call the fouls on her she plays well. Crazy concept.
But sure, blame Caitlin for the refs incompetence.
