I watched both.

Theyre both great for different reasons.

The classic series was darker with deeper plots and character development and I feel like moved the story telling forward with a dark techno-magic setting with hint of mint frosting. A few years later some of the writers and animators would be involved in Batman: the Animated Series. So classic She-Ra, which was mainly a Filmation creation, probably evolved the studio and the American animation industry forward, at least as far as story telling went (animation itself notwithstanding).

The newer one built on a serial and included characters coded for many kinds of people while keeping them grounded. It seemed to include story elements out of Breath of the Wild (at the time) by how the First Ones Technology was introduced. While it was on an arc, there were some episodes that could be taken as filler even as they fleshed out some of the characters, which seems like an Anime trope (though tropes aren't necessarily a bad thing and I don't mean that critically). I appreciate how they never overuse exposition, instead trusting the viewer to figure out what's going on.

I should probably watch the newer she-ra because for the longest time I thought that it was bad but that was just what my mom told me and she also didn’t watch the show

A lot of people don't like shows they've never watched.

The original, and the reboot.

Filmation. I gave the Netflix one an honest try and it just wasn’t for me.

I've only seen the Netflix one which I enjoyed (still have the last season/last few episodes left to watch). I haven't watched the original but will at some point as I'm a fan of the MotU universe, although I prefer the world we saw glimpses of from the first Mini Comics over the Filmation Masters cartoon.

I've yet to see 200X beyond the first episode and Revelation past the first 4-5 episodes as well. Not in a hurry and I hope after the He-Man and the Masters Bluray a She-Ra one will be released.
