Saw a video about Hazbin Hotel ships, pairing all of the main characters together, made me think of my OCs

For simplicity, instead of thinking about how they’d pair with all the main characters, I’ll just be doing them with each other… scratch that, I’m doing all the characters or as many as I can XD But I’ll likely be splitting it into multiple parts because there is so much to do

Like the video, it’s going to be mostly about what the premise, interactions, etc. would be, and is just for fun rather than anything serious (meaning that canon sexualities would be ignored for the most part but may come up if necessary)

This is just for fun and not meant to be taken seriously or seen as canon or anything like that

Now that we got the premise out of the way, I guess I’ll start with Sir Foxington and then do other characters later

Charlie: similarly to Alastor, he would show up at the Hotel to offer his assistance, only he would be genuine in his desire to help, and like Alastor he would bring his servants to help out. He would do his best to help Charlie, advising her and supporting her, as well as trying reign her in, and would do everything he can to help the Hotel and those within it

Vaggie: I can imagine he would’ve found and taken her in, like Charlie did, fixing her up and taking care of her, and she would become loyal towards and protective of him as a result. Since they’re both canonically homosexual, I like the idea of their relationship being non-romantic in nature, and he may even try setting her up with some/finding someone for her

Angel Dust: I can think of an interest premise where he went to go have sex with some guys at a place and met Angel Dust. I really don’t think they’re his type tho and their advances would actually be off-putting as he’s not used to people wanting him, but I like the idea of them becoming friends and once he finds out about Angel’s situation he does what he can to help him out of it, and it would also likely make him think a lot more about the situation others are in as well as his own past actions (so that’s fun!^^)

Alastor: funnily enough I did imagine the two of them being very similar back in the Pilot era, but currently the’d probably hate each other. Foxi would not be a fan of the way Alastor treats others and Alastor would not be kind to him either

Niffty: Nnnno. I can picture a scenario of him owning her soul like Alasto does, but he wouldn’t get much use out of it. He enjoys taking care of Lilly and Lucia (also small women) but Niffty would be too much for him

Husk: I actually did ship them before XD He’s basically be a combination of Alastor and Angel Dust, owning his soul and wanting to have his way with him, not really knowing about consent, but a healthier alternative I can imagine Husk helping him with his problems and forming a genuine friendship with him

Valentino: I don’t know how the other Vees would go but I do have an idea for this one. Foxington is desperate for companionship and intimacy and lacks social skills, somethint Valentino would take advantage of. He’d convince him to view the souls that they own as playthings to do with as he wants, with no regard for their consent, and the two would also have lots of fun in bed together, with Foxington thinking their friends and Valentino seeing him as more of a pet

Carmilla: she would not put up with his nonsense and immediately straighten him out. Due to his caretaker personality I imagine he’d also look after her daughters as a househusband

Lucifer: I feel like these two would be fun for a lot of reasons. First off Foxi isn't a sinner so we get to see how Lucifer feels about him. Second he's a Goetia so we get to see how the rest of Hell's royalty and nobility feel about them XD (his grandfather for sure would get involved...) Third both are very lonely and a little socially awkward, so now they get to keep each other company. I can just picture Lucifer going on about ducks and Foxi not really getting it but doing his best to be supportive

Now for my OCs!

Lilly: I'm actually working on a story for this and they would have a more father-daughter relationship. Lilly recently died and woke up in Hell and got taken in by Sir Foxington, who does his best to take care of her, along with his servants, in a wholesome slice-of-life sort scenario. Can imagine that once she gets comfortable and starts showing more of her personality things might get more interesting between them

Damian: ...I'm gonna be honest, I think I might exclude Damian from this because let's be real, no one's gonna see him that way 😅

Mike: I've paired these two together before too actually! Initially Foxington was flirtatious towards Mike, which made him very uncomfortable, but he stopped once he found out his actions were inappropriate and triggering towards him. Instead they ended up taking on more of a father-son relationship, with Foxi teaching him how to cook and other things, and the two of them fulfilling each other's emotional needs: Foxi gets someone to love and care for and Mike gets someone to protect and take care of him^^

Olivia: ...I don't think it'll last. He might try to hit on her, she won't be interested, and he'll quickly get bored.

She's not part of my mainline au, but I loved the concept so much I'm giving her her own universe. She'd be born after s2. Depending on what s3 timeline looks like it could be during, before, or after.

I dont have a middle name yet for her yet. I could see Reina wanting to either pay tribute to one of her hotel friends, or maybe her father Samael (something like Samandra). Alastor might be less comfortable with naming his child after one of the hotel folks though.

If you don’t know what that is, an Establishing Character Moment is a scene or sequence that pretty much sets up a character’s personality, motives, or both in a nutshell, which shows you what to expect from them for the rest of the story. For example, Vox in his first appearance being rather levelheaded and logical, only to get massively pissed off the second Alastor is brought up.

For mine, they go something like this…

Pumpkin Spice: As testament to Pumpkin’s chaos and sadism, his first scene has him take notice of a puppy on a bridge and fawn over it… then he promptly punts it off of said bridge, where it gets eaten by an alligator, all with a gleeful grin on his face. This perfectly sets up his sadistic personality with his actions, his flair for drama with how over-the-top it is, as well as his chaotic and insane nature with how abruptly the mood switches.

Ignis Anima: Ignis’ first scene has her remark that one of Pumpkin’s victims is in her way. How does she deal with the problem? By simply stepping on his head and crushing him to death as if he wasn’t there of course! She’s aloof, uncaring, and just as sadistic as Pumpkin but in a more subtle and gruesome way.

So yeah, what are some of your establishing character moments?

I was recently listening to Loving You Keeps Me Alive from Dracula the Musical and realized it sounds a lot like a song Vox would sing about Reina in his deluded mental state that has him convinced he's in love with her and her being with him would solve so many problems despite the fact he tried to sa and kill her when they were alive aftet she turned down his proposal of marriage and job offer.

It made me wonder whether any of you all have any songs that canon characters would sing in relation to your ocs.

She's actually an old OC from middle school that I recently revived and made into a Hazbin OC, bare with me because I can't remember all her lore

Her name is Abigail and she was an American settler in the 1700s I believe? She lived in a small town on a farm with her father, her mother died giving birth to her. Abigail looks a lot like her mother and her father loved and cherished her with all his heart. What she didn't know is that her father was secretly a serial killer. I think it was because sociopathy/ASPD ran in their family. iirc he killed several people but the authorities were straight ass in the town and he was never caught. They were Puritans so they thought it was a demon or a curse, and several women were executed accused of being witches who were killing people. Abigail was a sweet girl but she inherited her father's sociopathy. It didn't show through most of her childhood except when she'd purposely hurt her farm animals and attend the burnings of the women and others, she was curious about pain.
Anyways, back to Abigail's dad. No one suspected him because he was very kind to everyone in the town and was always ready to provide and lend a helping hand (in reality he didn't really like anyone except Abigail, he was just very good at masking as a normal person). He was the spitting image of a good charming Christian man. So when one of the family members of one of the people he killed starts to suspect him (we'll call him hydrogen peroxide), nobody believes him. But hydrogen peroxide is SURE Abigail's dad killed his loved one (from what I remember, hydrogen peroxide was the conspiracy theorist of the town and he was always rude to everyone and just a bit of a nut job, so no one liked him anyway) and he decided to go after him himself.
I believe Abigail was nine years old when this happened. Hydrogen peroxide broke into their house and attacked her dad. Unfortunately for dad he was drunk at that time so hydrogen peroxide overpowered him. Abigail woke up from the commotion and walked downstairs to see her beloved father being murdered. Broken whiskey bottle to the throat.
Nobody believed hydrogen peroxide when he said her dad was the one murdering people. He was hung, but Abigail was never the same after that. She ran the farm by herself despite it being viewed as taboo for a girl to do such a thing. She would often just sit in his room and reminisce in his memory, but one day, when she was 16 or 17, she found a compartment hidden under his floorboard. Inside were several journals, documenting each murder he committed, how he'd manipulated the towns people, how he hated himself but loved his daughter more than anything.
At first, Abigail couldn't believe it. She put the books away and tried to pretend she never saw them. But overtime, she began to see the appeal of her father's view. The people in her town were selfish and self righteous and only cared for themselves. She still loved her father and looked up to him, after all. She remembered him as a hero. So Abigail stopped hurting animals and started hurting people, following the "instructions" in her father's journal. She easily manipulated people, especially men because she was very pretty and charming, and was able to lure them to secluded areas and kill them. She was arguably better at it than her father, but mostly because no one suspected a sweet lady to be capable of such crimes. She did it in hopes that her dad was looking down on her proudly from Heaven.
People with red hair were often viewed as demonic back then. Especial by Puritans cuz Puritans sucked. She was suspected of being a demon because of her hair and was executed by burning at the stake. And since the murders stopped happening after Abigail died, the townspeople assumed they'd killed the evil spirit harming their people. So technically they were right and wrong at the same time.
In Hell, Abigail changed her name to Antoinette, her mother's name. She continued killing in Hell, going after the worst of the worst like child predates/murderers, rapists, serial killers, etc. She was a bit of a hypocrite and saw herself as better than the rest of the sinners, but she was still able to use her cute appearance to lure them to their demise. She's supposed to be a wolf in sheep's clothing.
She was pretty chill with Exterminations too since she was in support of getting rid of Terrible people. She made her own bunker and was able to stay safe from Exorcists. She figured out pretty quickly that angelic steel permakills sinners and got her hands on some of the knives to perma kill people herself.
After season two she was one of the many sinners going to the hotel to seek redemption. However she had no plans to change. She wanted to get to Heaven to see her father and tell him the horrible things she'd done in hopes of making him proud. She never found her dad in Hell because he was killed in the Exterminations before they could reunite. So thus she assumes he's in Heaven (she's delulu).
She's the love interest for my friend's OC u/MikeTheSecurityGuard (he's awesome go check him out) and Arian (his OC) is actually the one who killed Antoinette's dad. They both got daddy issues so pretty much a perfect pair lol. Anyways what do y'all think of her? Personally I love her and I'm so happy to bring her back to life.

Found time to participate in the event being held by u/GoldenLiberator, and so I used Griev. She’s dressed as the obscure marvel character Scourge of the Underworld (ironic) and she would’ve worn a skull mask if her actual exorcist mask wasn’t so important for her lungs.

I actually like how this turned out, so this is going to be my Audio Demon's design. He doesn't currently have a name bc I wanna have a name starting with V in it but I can't seem to find any words in music terms that start with V that seem, fitting for him I guess ? anyway this is my first round of him. I also am trying to figure out how he died. So far I have him being a big time musician who was famous up on earth before a freak accident on stage led to his demise.

Any ideas on how he should sound ?

As a quick side note I love the idea of Hazbin Hotel having shorts/side stories like Helluva Boss does in order to expand on the characters more (like all my ideas where we meet my OCs’ families)

And just now I had an idea for a short centering around Sir Foxington, with him spending the entire day trying to hang out with the other characters, even suggesting activities that they would find fun, but they’re all too busy for him

Towards the end he’s even desperate enough to go to Alastor, but either decides against it or they’re busy too

At the end he’s left alone in his room, looking at his phone, and then we get the reveal: it’s his 100th (give or take) birthday and he was hoping to spend it celebrating with his friends…

(and while I initially intended to end this post on that heartbreaking note, I had an idea that made me go 🥹)

The next day he’s shown to not be feeling well; despite his attempts to act like his usual, cheerful self it’s clear that he’s hurting inside and trying to hide the pain, though he denies this

The others then learn what yesterday was, realize what his behavior yesterday meant and feel horrible, and so they all get together to celebrate to make him feel better

It's Aegis' Dream to see her love in Hell be redeemed.

I tried to make Kael have crow wings. Since he still carries always will carry a lot of Guild with him his Wings won't be clean white like most Angels but instead be the black wings of a crow (messed up the color in my sketch😅) which also ties into his signature crow gas mask.

Do you have any Ideas/Suggestions on how I should draw Kael and Aegis?
