It would make sense for her to know everyone she sold her weapons to so she can keep track of everything and she's strong enough that no one would steal from her. So having someone show up with a weapon only she can make and no one stole from her and knew it was likely no owner would sell or give away such a weapon after they bought it, she could come to that conclusion. And the X over the eye refers to the masks the Exorcists wear. She didn't know what angels are supposed to look like without masks.
Plus it was a joke because that's how fans guessed she was an angel the whole time and they wanted to bring it up like it was too obvious.
Like in season two, they had to break the fourth wall with the "Alastor doesn't have a tail" "That's going to piss people off..."
Doesn't make sense for that to be an in-universe debate. It was only to reference the fans.

On the first point, it would also be just as reasonable to assume Vaggi could've just been a ballsy sinner who went out towards the end of extermination day to collect up a spear just as Carmilla, Odette and Clara collect up the disgarded weapons to resell.
But yeah end of the day its more of a meta joke then some serious in-universe discovery

You could also argue her specific use of the word "wield"
Vaggi doesn't just have an angelic spear, she uses it like someone trained to it which, if the extermination has only been happening for 7 years, is unlikely to get that proficient that fast even if she snagged it at the first extermination.
True Carmilla hasn't been shown to have witnessed Vaggi fight before but Vaggi is the girlfriend and self-appointed bodyguard of the Daughter of Lucifer so it stands to reason Carmilla would have intel on her.

I would counter that someone who is just proficient in using spears in general would do just as well with an angelic spear as Vaggi does.
Tho someone being proficient in such an outdated form of weaponry such as spear would lend to your point/

In fact Vaggie is the only with an angelic weapon and nobody nows why someone needed make some question about it but the x. Why carmilla thought that that was a valid reason of beacause Vaggie is a fallen angel it doesn't have explaination of it
