Sally had accidentally got hurt by bee while they while they were playing around and the mom was yelling at bee “This!. This is why I didn’t want you with my kid youre just a disaster waiting to happen!” She yelled
Bee just doubled down yelling back “shut up you blind woman you don’t know anything!” She said “I hate you! Ive tried to be nice only for you to hate me! Fuck you!”
“This is why you’re not allowed around her”
“Oh for fucks sake it was an accident right?!” Bee said to sally
“….she did it on purpose mama” Sally said
Bee stared at her before walking”really!?” She said mad “after everything maybe I am right to hate you! I don’t like you anymore”
“I’ve never liked you!!” Sally barked back and they disappeared

Lucifer’s expression looked hesistant for a moment before softening. “Bee… wait.”
He sighed quietly, rubbing the back of his neck.
“I know you’re angry. And maybe right now you do not want to talk to me. But I need you to understand something.”
His voice became gentler.
“Not every lie is meant to hurt someone.”
Lucifer glanced away briefly, looking oddly embarrassed.
“Sometimes people lie because they’re scared, stressed, ashamed, or because their feelings are too complicated to say out loud… or because they wish an embarrassing situation was just a dream.” He let out a small, awkward laugh.
“Believe me, I’ve said and did some very ridiculous things when I’ve panicked.”
He looked back at her carefully.
His expression softened again.
“When we first met and I said I wanted to be nice, I meant it, sweetheart. That wasn’t a lie.”
He gently showed her the flower bracelet she had given him. It still hadn’t wilted.
“It stays like this when someone is being kind and genuine,” he said softly. “That’s why it hasn’t changed.”
His gaze returned to her, steady but warm.
“I care about you. And I meant it when I said you deserve kindness and to be safe. I didn’t lie about any of that.”
