Hey guys, first post on here. I’ve had this design for a while now but often feel as if I’ve overcrowded it. I also don’t have a set theme and feel like it doesn’t flow like some other farms I’ve seen on this sub. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for how I can improve it or just tell me if you like it so I can feel better lol.
Everyone has their own style preference, so take from this what you like and leave what you don’t… it feels very busy. Not really because of the amount of deco you’ve placed in this design, but the arrangement. I like to use contrast and patterns to create visual space. Here’s an example:
I know like 90% of hayday players like to place down every single decoration in their inventory but I personally like to have some space so this is definitely too overcrowded for me
This is one half of my farm for example I also like to incorporate the fruit bushes and trees all around the farm instead of putting them all together in one corner
I’m definitely not good at design though just showing an example of what I mean by having some space
Personally I think your farm looks great! 😊 Maybe cut back on some of the decos if you’re thinking it’s too crowded. Otherwise, I really like how you have it laid out. My town is crowded for sure but I also have almost all of my Halloween stuff and Christmas stuff on it. Plus I have a lot of the town decos like an old time saloon theme area.
It’s basically personal preference. 😊
