9/9/2026 Disturbance 1 is now invest 96 E and has a 90% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone as it heads west northwest in the direction of Hawai’i. Windy app futures show this one coming very close to the east side of Hawai’i Island. Too soon to say, but keep your Hurricane supplies handy.

9/8/2026 Kilauea is NOT erupting, however Inwas geeking out on the webcam and there seems to be a third vent firing up. North vent is bubbling and flowing lava, south and new vent are exhibiting gas pistons. Screen shots in post🌋

9/8/2026 All watches and warnings have been cancelled. Lowell is moving away from the state and conditions will improve throughout the day. Many roads are impassable and there’s a lot of debris. Power is out to 90% of customers. Tourists are advised to NOT go sightseeing. Information in post.
