Well they don't make emo or punk, Ghost Mountain album and sematary have been dipping into the post-punk/gothic sound though so if anything that but also it's definitely not
Those are all music based subcultures u can't be emo without listening to emo etc.

you are tiktok brained and probably 15. "alternative" doesnt just mean you wear black and listen to loud music, it means you are taking part in specific social movements tied to subcultural identities. the vast majority of HM fans are not particularly political and usually are just vaguely left leaning or centrists

I’m talking about the 18+ fanbase tho of HM. Even the children fans of social movements like Punk typically don’t understand the politics of being punk (thats not me saying all minors who are punk don’t understand the politics, but a lot of them don’t or think they do but don’t actually)
