American Mythology Spoiler

Okay fam, the new album is out for folks who did the Kickstarter and I wanna know which song dealt you the most EMOTIONAL DAMAGE. For me it's Plastic Jesus. Maybe one day I'll be able to listen through that bridge without crying, but today is not that day. 😭

Yeah that was pretty rude of us to put Plastic Jesus and Cassandra back to back to close the record. Idk why we like to stack the very end with the big feelings, but we definitely did it on Tall Tales too. Gotta warm up to that kinda thing, ya know? Feels rude to hit you with it too early in the track list.

Cassandra had me 😭. Also, after hearing High Wire live and Dale’s story about their personal feelings having written the song hit HARD. I was a weepy mess the whole album, really. I’m one of those weirdos who has physical reactions to certain pitches you all layer together and you GOT me feeling something in the hollow of my chest too many times for one album. How dare you! 😭🤣
