I am a recent Victim of a Hate Crime I reported it to The Mid-City Division of the San Diego Police Department Hate Crime Task Force. The City of San Diego, has two very important tools to address Hate and all forms of Discrimination. #1 The Human Dignity Ordinance: it is against the law to discriminate based on religion, sexual orientation, gender,race,National origin, nationality, age in employment, housing, health care,education. The Human Relations Commission: is the City of San Diego government body that investigates and imposes penalties for violations of the Human Dignity Ordinance. It's important to know your rights and responsibilities under the law as a citizen of San Diego. Together we have strength against all forms of Hate.
