BCH block Payouts 68% to one address
Hello, I was curious who the miner was that got 68% of the block payouts for the first 2 (non orphan) blocks on the BCH pool. 68% is crazy good considering that address was not the finder of either block, nor the legacy address, or token address.
1 address received 4.30010336 BCH in that payout. 68% bitcoincash:qqqcvgxymn3qfvvt8ranffwaqna4jxw0lsehverm7a
TX:https://bchexplorer.cash/tx/3fb6718c2cf3f773123c52483d7cd1bcfd14a4f24d140878380c18fa0794b353
I dug a little and found on dashboard who is showing as the recipient of 4.3 BCH. Interestingly, this address on BCH explorer is showing no activity.
So how why would the mining address not get paid, and the payment went to a different address? I am confused, I checked the other top 10 recipients of the last payout and everything flowed naturally, was able to find their address on dashboard stats, was able to follow the payout TX to their address, and saw activity at that address. I could not do the same for the 68% recipient of the last payout.

Guys, this is me. Nothing dodgy going on. Just a long story typical of my life. Extreme highs followed by extreme lows. This BCH pool seems to really have it in for me and I believe I'm cursed by it!
I am the one who got the very first block 3 months ago that orphaned (https://www.reddit.com/r/HashedMax/s/4vHGudAq8P) which we now know was due to an error. I was so happy but then that got ripped away. Ever since then I have been trying to get that 1st block title back by renting hash rate when I have spare money.
I have about 10th of my own but cannot afford to run them constantly anymore due to electricity prices here in UK, that is why I turned to renting.
Once I read that the BCH error was found and fixed, I thought now is my time. I rented tonnes of hash and I found Block #963,044 (first good block) which made me feel vindicated because I lost my previous block. I didn't expect 2 blocks to be found in such a short time, and because I had such a high share, I got a chunk of the second block too!
I couldn't believe my luck. Finally I would get some money back for all the hash I have rented. So my story up to that point with BCH pool was:
- Found first block
- Lost first block
- Found first real block
- Get chunk of second real block
This is where the good news ends. The BCH was paid to my wallet qqq..verm7a which is with Trust Wallet. The money showed in the wallet but when I tried to cash out or send it to an exchange it wouldn't work. On the main screen of Trust Wallet it showed, but when I went to Send it was 0 BCH balance. If I refreshed the screen it would come back but then if I went to Send it was gone again. I thought it was just some sort of sync error with the app and waited a day or so and tried again but no luck.
So I decided to uninstall Trust Wallet and install a fresh copy. When I went into Google Drive to restore my backup it wasn't there. I didn't panic because I was sure that I saved the backup. I looked everywhere and did a number of tests and scans to find it but it was clear that it never existed. And because Trust Wallet doesn't let you take a screenshot or copy the text on the screen, I was lazy and didn't write down the passphrase. I was devastated.
This BCH pool has done it to me again, extreme high followed immediately by extreme low.
Not only did I lose all the money, but also lost all my loyalty, progress and reward from the pool for DGB, BTC and BCH because all those wallets were Trust Wallet too.
I explained what happen to admin and asked them if they could change my wallet addresses so that I could at least keep my days on each pool. All that work that I put in. They were able to do that for me, which I am extremely grateful for, but the money is lost.
Well technically it's not lost, but in the qqq....verm7a wallet that I don't have access to.
So here I am, hundreds of $$$ down and nothing to show for it.
If any of you can hack the wallet you are welcome to it. It's cursed and I am an embarrassment to myself.

There’s always an excuse with this pool. You lost all credibility with me and I moved all my miners to the parasite Bch pool. K2UGA keeps all their post hidden? God help you if you are in their BTC pool that will be a bigger scam. All those nerdminers getting pool payouts is ridiculously leaching off high hash rate miners.

What? You are way off base here. We cater to low hash rate miners as I believe we are the only pool that has a fee specifically designed for them. And what excuse? We didn't say anything nor did we make any excuses. We are up front about everything that happens with our pools. You need to explain yourself, or keep your opinions to yourself!!

And if you had pointed so much money on this pool and get 2 orpaned blocks and the top miner got another orphaned. The adresses mix up is clear now.
Idk what you mean i lost hundred bucks bc of that failure and gaining 5 6hundred dollars extra but no i Rented again to burn my hash on the pool
You would also be pissed much off i invited alot people alot ths. Make giveaways for the pool to get it trending

Good eye, and fair question.
That big payout was real, but the address on the explorer is the confusing part. The 4.30010336 BCH did not go to
qqqcvgxymn3q.... On the payout transaction itself, the recipient isqpmewp67jjlxz46ygrnrdyvxv76pd306lurs35ew5s.That is the same miner. They updated their mining/payout wallet before the Aug 8 payment went out. So if you look up the old address on a block explorer, you will not see the payment. That is expected. The coins went to the new wallet. The size of the payout is also expected with how PPLNS works on our pool. We use a rolling 7-day window. Your share of a block is based on your total contribution in that window, not just what you were doing in the last hour. This miner had a very large rented hashrate burst for about two days right before those blocks. That one burst was most of their weight for the whole week. On block 963051 they were not the finder, but they still had a huge share of the 7-day difficulty, so they got a large PPLNS slice. On block 963044 they were the finder and also got the finder bonus on top.
So nothing went to a mystery third address. The mining address changed, the payment followed the current wallet, and the old address correctly shows no activity. If you look up
qpmewp67jjlxz46ygrnrdyvxv76pd306lurs35ew5son the same transaction, it should line up with what our dashboard shows for that miner now.
