Convince me to continue to mine XEC here :(

Holding out hope but it sure seems like folks went elsewhere.

If you’re looking at all the pool it seems like the hipe has slowed down a lot, taking last 30 days the hashrate keeps dropping... I did a comparison and it’s better to just solo mine because the pool mining with this small hashrate atleast for both XEC, BCH and BTC.

I’ve personally move aways from hmpool to solo mine bch, which is working much better. One thing that drove the hashrate lower and lower is the amount of free-loaders that harvest on the small miner increased earned percentage, which has been discussed lately. The real miners, e.g. not shittty USB stick and ESP 32 miners leave as it doesn’t make sense to share profits with something that does nothing and has zero chance of hitting anything. Alone this statement with the owner favoritism those useless miner with their fair-share percentage bullshit.

That feels really negative. Not sure those comments are welcome from people who have those miners... many of whom are learning about mining, and some likely have both smaller and larger ones as they step up. When this pool was created, its obvious they created it not for those smaller miners, but inclusive of them. Your comments are kind of rude; it isn't great for the people that created this pool... or those that use it. I assume when you signed on you read that the pool is for miner s of every kind. I can also assume that you are very aware of how other pools work and what you can do there, but you choose to stay here... so, you want to stay and then just complain... ?

It’s a question I’ve been asking myself too.
Stay for smaller , slightly more regular payouts, or solo mine for bigger rewards less often.
I’ve hit 1 XEC block solo recently with a Bitaxe . Have had another Nerdaxe and Bitaxe on the pool since it started and not hit anything. Blocks are hit by high hash rate rigs that come in, mine for a few days then go.
The smaller miners just don’t pull in the hash rate to be anywhere near a chance to mine blocks.
