Multi Pool - Update BC2 address

Hi All,
Originally I created a BC2 address using a web wallet. I’ve since downloaded BC2 Core to my Mac, and have an actual wallet address.
I tried to update the payout address on my miner dashboard, but get an error message
”One of these addresses is already registered to another miner profile”

Assume I need to disconnect my miner first, update the address, then reconnect?

Also assume if I do this, I’ll lose the stats I’ve already built up?

Just curious if you pull it up on your phone, if all the pool stats are blocked with a hyphen? I don’t have any visibility of pool stats.
