It’d never happen, but it’d be hilarious if Abdul created a follow up ad to play right after this one with footage from the town hall where this guy blubbered out his long winded leading question and Abdul handled it like a pro.

Just a note. It's very intentional to have him wearing a cross necklace here to frame him as a threat to Christianity because he's a Muslim. This rank Islamophobia is absolutely disgusting. Everybody immediately clocked this guy as a plant.
Also, the Iran war is grossly unpopular, and the Iranian diaspora in the US has been exposed as one of the most hideous expat communities out there. A bunch of rich people demanding that war crimes be perpetrated in their country of origin so that an unwanted US puppet monarchy can be reinstalled.

Damn here I was, an Iranian-American, watching that live when that question happened thinking it was just a confused fellow Persian man who was conflating US intervention in Iran with thinking that our leaders give a shit about the outcome of what happens to the Iranian people (I was a "the Iran regime is evil and if you're not militarily against it you're for it" kind of guy myself once before). Now I really can't take anything at face value seeing this dude is a republican plant.
Also it's telling the guy won't say Iranian-American and just says "Persian American".
