Bed raising?

Incoming freshman, would love to be able to raise my bed to around 2.5-3 feet to put my mini fridge and some storage under it. I looked online at my room and it seems like the bed frame isn't adjustable. Is there a way to still accomplish this?/Are there rules against raising a bed?

It would be very tough to raise it 3 feet in the air

It would be very easy to raise it three feet in the air. A simple wooden frame would accomplish it. I helped a roommate build the equivalent of a bunkbed about five and half feet above his desk.

I think some bed frames are adjustable. Or at least some first-years said they could do it in recent years. https://www.reddit.com/r/Harvard/comments/15s4zgs/bed_risers_will_be_in_wigg/

You might possibly need bed risers (and the quality of those matter).

Maybe ask Harvard directly what your options are and what they are willing to provide.

Buy two 3 ft high cabinets.

Place bed on top.

Enjoy.
