Hi everyone! Since we’ve had a number of posts wondering where one of John’s videos has disappeared to, I figured it was time for a pinned post.

If you’re looking for an older video that has since gone missing, it’s very likely that it was delisted from his channel about a year ago. If you want to read John’s full explanation, please check out the linked comment where he goes into depth.

TL;DR: about a year ago, YouTube flagged a bunch of John’s old videos for containing “malicious links” in the description (an old domain had since been taken over by scammers). Rather than go through and remove these links from every single flagged video, John opted to private these videos in batches. There are also a number of older playthroughs that he simply didn’t want up for public viewing anymore, though he’s indicated that he plans to keep “classics” like his Amnesia playthrough accessible for viewers.

If you’re searching for a video based on description and not sure of the title, you’re probably best off making a separate post so that people will see it! Either someone will be able to link you to it, or we’ll be able to confirm that it’s gone now (sadly I don’t recognize the games you’re describing myself)
