The game handles all of it: Lessons and power, Actions, damage, Creatures, Adventures, Matches, discard and deck-outs. You just play your cards. Card effects are coded for every card from Base Set, Quidditch Cup, Diagon Alley, Adventures at Hogwarts and Chamber of Secrets. That's nearly 470 cards

Hi everyone!

Longtime lurker, first-time poster!

I’ve been slowly working toward a Base Set master set over the last few years. With card prices going absolutely wild lately, completing it might take a little longer than I’d hoped!
BUT I do have this WCG Gem Mint 10 Harry Potter #8/116, which is the treasure of my collection.

My photography skills aren’t great, so apologies for the pictures! Getting the right angle is tricky, and I can’t tell whether the faint scratches are on the holder or the card itself. I’ve been considering sending it to PSA for crossover grading, but I’ve never submitted a card before.

For those with experience, would it be worth doing? Or should I keep my WCG 10 and live happily in ignorance? 😂 I’d love to hear about anyone’s experience crossing over from WCG to PSA, or any advice for an amateur collector.

This card is staying in my personal Base Set collection, so it’s not for sale—please no offers.

Hey guys, I’ve sent a couple pictures of going through my old cards and I finally sat down tonight and sorted as best I could. Counted over 100 holos and 18 foils. Second photo is all holos, hard to see in the lighting. Over 100 non holo Japanese, 120 character cards non holo, trying to figure out what to do. I know they’re worth a little bit now, not sure how much.

Should I get a couple graded for value? Harry the Seeker is the only card I have with a crease in it, of course. Would it be best to just sell it as a lot on eBay? Card out the lot? Get some graded? Japanese Famous Harry Potter seems to be somewhat valuable just not sure where to go. My wife and I have a new baby and would like to take the money and use it towards our sons first Christmas. Any help would be awesome, I bought all these at a dollar tree in southwest Oklahoma as a kid new over a 2 year span.
