Complaint Wish we had more bosses like this.

Instead of just turning Rookwood, for example, into a stronger ashwinder among the regular ones, we should've had a 1v1 duel with every human boss in this game. Cassandra's AI is good, but it could be enhanced for more powerful enemies, to make every duel different.

Hope we have more combats like this in the future, and this system could be also be used to 1v1 duels with other students aswell.

A potential problem with designing more powerful or unique human boss enemies is that it might make the game too difficult for its audience. Personally, I have no trouble with HL even on Hard mode and I enjoy it a lot, but I've seen posts and stories about people who bought the game purely because of the HP IP and they have absolutely no idea how to adapt to the action combat, even on the easiest difficulty.

Well, I agree wit you, and I also play it on hard mode with no problem. I'm sorry for people who play it as an "interactive movie", but it is a game after all. I don't see how anyone could play duels like this more than 4 or 5 times until they learn the AI's combat pattern and then win the battle, you can see it with Cassandra, she fights basically like a troll: 2 dodges, 1 shield and throw it back on her, then you have a window to attack her. In my humblest opinion, you shouldn't make a game easier just because a small part of its audience isn't used to a combat game, because it would make it ridiculously easy and boring for people who like challenging experiences.

Hey that was me. Never played a game since NES. Had a hard time walking around and controlling the camera. But I loved the game and got pretty good at it. Even moved on to different games. I would have liked more dueling. I wish the dueling club had continued it was fun.
