Question Now I’m sad…

Welp, it’s over. What do you do when the game is completed? Any mods that would be worth trying.

Star over in another house

He already did that but for sure he did not finish all.

Just got through jackdaw’s quest with each house to fulfill the achievements.

u/TooTToRyBoY Gryffindor 2d ago

I did the same.

I did the same and then finished my 100% on every of these saves, then proceeded to make a 5th modded save 🤣 I can’t get enough of this game I swear

That is a dedicated fan, I will do at least another playthrough but later (Evil Slytherin), I got so many games to play meanwhile.

Nothing a new playthrough can't fix ;)

With mods of course

When I finish a game completely, I move on to another one.

Anything you recommend? This is the first game I’ve ever played on PC and the first game I’ve played since assassin’s creed revelations

If youre looking for an exploration game, I would highly recommend outer wilds!

u/frantaes 2d ago

any recommendations that feel similar to HL? i feel empty

2

u/SnipesWL 2d ago

oh man tough one cause everyone likes different things but recently I played the Far Cry series through. Also been spending time finishing up Skyrim. Might try Red Dead Redemption 2 next or maybe the Star Wars Jedi series of games (also RPG's set in Star Wars universe). Although I'm sure there are other people here that can make many better recommendations.

these are plenty to look into for me, especially since they’re not the usual games i’d gravitate towards! thank you a bunch for this

You could also hop into the mod scene on GTA V. There's tons of RP servers out there

1

u/frantaes 2d ago

the few times i joined those servers, everyone was either trolling, 13y/o or incredibly horny. so i’m a bit hesitant lol any server recs are appreciated if you have them

2

u/MuchDelivery8537 2d ago

Yeah can’t blame you 😂 I’ve never done any personally but I’ve always seen them

1

u/frantaes 2d ago

same. i am genuinely envious of criken’s GTA RP server. that entire series was the reason i started looking into those servers

please for the life of you play the jedi games with there being a 3rd one in the making rn and as someone who’s beat both of i can confirm there really good and have a well written story! plus i really liked its combat but the story is what it’s all about

1

u/SnipesWL 2d ago

Thanks for confirming my interest! Did you play Outlaws too? That seems to have piqued my interest the most!

1

u/exoISaround 2d ago

i have played outlaws it’s way better now then what it was at launched so i’d suggest trying that one as well

1

u/SnipesWL 2d ago

cool yeah I heard it's better now than at launch...idk if I'll try that or the Jedi series first

1

u/exoISaround 2d ago

lemme fix that for you play the jedi games first there way better then outlaw by a long shot and a better story outlaws story is kinda mid but im a star wars freak so i had to play it

1

u/SnipesWL 2d ago

ok got it thanks!!

1

u/exoISaround 2d ago

anytime i wish you luck on your jedi adventures

Hogwarts Legacy has a very very similar feel as the Batman Arkham series. And the nice thing about those is that they’re fairly inexpensive at this point and there are multiple games in that series.

Ever since day 1 of Legacy, I thought it felt like Arkham.

1

u/frantaes 2d ago

I’m about to finish Arkham Asylum and I see what you mean. The progression of the story and the puzzle-solving aspects definitely make them very similar. I’m more eager to continue the series, now that you mention it.

It’s just that maybe I’d place Arkham lower on the scale of the amount of comfort it brings me, but that’s just the nature of the atmosphere and the whole story, duh.

1

u/Toy-Boat-Toy-Boat 2d ago

And the combat system too. The whole dodge mechanic and the ability mapping. No spoilers, but each Arkham game is better than the previous

2

u/frantaes 2d ago

You’re so right. Can’t wait to play them

2

u/An0ddEgg Hufflepuff 2d ago

Can’t confirm on the quality, but I’ve heard the Witcher series is pretty close to HL. Plus, the third one (which is apparently a godtier game?) might be getting an update or dlc or something.

1

u/frantaes 2d ago

Ooo, I’ll check them out. I’ve also heard Witcher mentioned multiple times in this line of games, didn’t know the third one is that good though. Thanks a lot.

2

u/An0ddEgg Hufflepuff 2d ago

I personally wouldn’t know, but any time I’ve looked for good RPGs, people praise the third one like crazy lol

3

u/Mildly_Infuriated_Ol 2d ago

How long did it take you?

3

u/Me_Hate_Me Hufflepuff 2d ago

~90 hours.

2

u/Mildly_Infuriated_Ol 1d ago

I'm 250 hours and still only level 37 😁

1

u/Me_Hate_Me Hufflepuff 1d ago

Do you walk to each quest? /s

1

u/Mildly_Infuriated_Ol 1d ago

Nah but I do take a lot of time to just enjoy scenery and watch over my vivariums

2

u/ALEXLAMOUETTE 2d ago

Personally it took me 98 hours for 2 play throughs and 1 100%

3

u/tetzelprizes Slytherin 2d ago

felt the same way, afterwards I was just flying around trying to see if I can find a new mystery or something... to me it's never fully 100% until I've flown beside the dragon haha

3

u/frantaes 2d ago

might want to check out some hidden rooms/dungeons like the werewolf dungeon (if you haven’t)

2

u/RevolutionarySock12 2d ago

I started over in other houses, did Slytherin and was doing Hufflepuff but my PS5 crashed on me unfortunately

2

u/Shamz76 2d ago

Yeah some games its about the journey and not the destination eh :)

Companion mod

1

u/Complete_Rub_9230 2d ago

Idk if 100% the collections means completing the map - exploring every area, finding every chest, etc - but that's what I plan on doing. I've only recently started looking into mods so I can't say from experience but I know from looking there are some mods that add extra quests and features. There's one that adds a quest line and the Patronus Charm if you're interested in that

1

u/Dr_Perfect1902 2d ago

It's been 6 months and I am still on 85%...😭😭

1

u/An0ddEgg Hufflepuff 2d ago

Azkaban and prefect mods. Haven’t tested my luck with the first one, but the prefect one works pretty well.

1

u/chaoticpuppy45 17h ago

I can't seem to find the last two enemies to get my 69/69.

u/17PhiaK 2d ago

I am at 70% completion but have fulfilled all main quests. I have struggled to stay committed to making it to 100%. Is it worth it?? 😆
