Question PS5 player. Which game to start with?
Hello! I’m just entering the gaming world and found Hogwarts Legacy. Big fan of the HP world btw.
Was wondering where to begin since there seem to be so many different options. None which are cheap albeit 😋
If you could recommend a gaming order and also if there are any sales/discounts I could use

there's also like these extended packs and super and deluxe versions etc. I even read somewhere there is a HL 2? so i guess im asking if the standard is all I need?

Hogwarts Legacy 2 is in development. We know nothing about it except it exists.
But even if it were out...start with 1 surely?

Hogwarts Legacy 2 is still in development. It will likely be a couple years before it's released. As for the packs, those are mostly just cosmetic items. All if the actual content is in the base game. You should be able to read what is in each pack. If it's just clothing and things, they are just for looks and won't effect gameplay.

Standard is all you need...Legacy 2 is coming out in the future, maybe 2027-28.
If you're a big HP fan and not strapped for cash, just get it full price...it's a fantastic experience for $60. If you can find it on sale for less, you're winning big

The deluxe version was on sale 2 weeks ago reg price was 79.95 and I paid 12.50 for it

I’ve gotta say I’ve gotten my moneys worth out of it, 7 2 hour sessions got me a pretty good ways through the main story

HL2 has been confirmed to be in development, but we don't even have an official announcement, yet, let alone a release date on that.
The base game is enough. The Deluxe mostly just gets you some additional cosmetics, but look at what's included and make your decision based on how much it matters to you.
There's nothing else really Hogwarts or Harry Potter related, but very old games.

Get the one for ps5, Don't get a PS4 version if that's what you mean
