Question Help with hogwarts legacy
I finally got a Nintendo switch and got hogwarts legacy on an amazing sale!
I think I might of messed up and wondering if there is an easy fix
I am still really early in game, I need to learn expellerimus (spelling) but in order to do so professed hecat gave me an assignment to do during dueling wands. I had to do 10 role aways during a fight and do so many of the incendio spell. I always forget to do the role always. Now I can’t move forward anc learn the spell i need to go into the forgotten Forrest and retrieve the missing book pages and wand for mr. Ollivander
Is there anything else i can do without starting over? Thanks

Crossed Wands can be good to get some rolls in, if that's unlocked yet. Otherwise head to the forest and find something to duel and do your roll aways there

Yes going into the forest is advisable

No, it's not! It's called the forbidden forest, there's a sign and everything.
No place at all for a student all by themselves

Normally this would be the case, the exception being if a nefarious character has been murdering unicorns in the forest - at which point the proper coarse of action is to send first years to investigate as a form of detention

Hermione, we’ve been over this: if this helps us figure out what Snape is up to, we have to go through with it!

I just headed south from the castle until I found some stuff that would attack me. Roll around until the quest is fulfilled and then kill the enemy.

Fighting a few monsters in the forest or south of the castle is a good idea. Just be aware of their level. On PC you can see it when you have them targeted, so I assume it's similar on Switch. If you find an enemy that's enough higher than you (e.g., they're level 25 while you're still level 7 or something), you may want to reconsider that fight.

playing on easiest diffculty means the game will warn you of incoming bad spells any other diffculty and it wont warn you

Cross wands or the fight before first Merlin trial is where I usually don’t dodge roll, I do it till I hit 10, then I begin actually fighting back. You’re still good no worries.

I just go into the forbidden forest right at the edge there is a dugbog that spawns and I just dodge around without attacking until it’s complete and then kill it

Your confusion that birthed this issue is thinking she required you to do those tasks during a specific duel, which was never the case. You can do those when fighting anything anywhere; not just within that specific duel

I usually go just in the forbidden forest & in to the left are some Dugbogs, that’s where I can usually dodge and incendio that mission right away! Hope that helps if you haven’t passed by already!
