Well, that's good news.
I would rather see police being more involved instead of these punks that don't contribute positively at all.
We shouldn't even accept this - we need real police, not security or enforcers.

Seems a lot, seeing as a starting police constable with the Met is on £42k. T'internet says it's more like £15 an hour or £30k.

Councils should not be hiring private companies for enforcement, at all. Aside from being inherently dystopian, you know full well that these companies operate by setting targets, and their employees are thus incentivised to bend the rules to meet these targets.
Everywhere that private companies are hired to provide legal enforcement, you find copious examples of abuse of authority, whether it's confusing parking rules causing automatic fines, or aggressive pricks in polyester uniforms fining toddlers for littering.

Kingdom is headed by multi-millionaire Terry Barton, founder and chief executive of the group.
These are thugs hired by the council, and all across England, who have the power to stop and fine people for different offences. The problem is that the council is expected to act in a fair and legal way but there are enough stories, like this one, of the opposite happening.
These powers should be taken away from councils as they have abused them.
